@Mattizzle9, Link was among the first to go, because he was on the front line. And with just a sword and shield, no less. He was first to go, because he was facing that shît head on, doing everything he could to make sure everyone else had the best chance to get away. He didn’t get the Triforce of Courage for nothing.

@Berntley, and he didn't exactly just die. None of them did. They all deployed defensive measures, but Links was jus a simple sheild which still deflected a blast. Kirby just kinda ran, but that makes sense. He lacks sheilds, and is a survivor and tactician.

for everyone wondering why kirby is probably the only character to survive this should know that he is able to travel from popstar to shiver star on his warpstar minutes, and if you are wondering why that's astronomical, shiver star is earth.
