*leaves stable job and moves to Sweden*
@I am a horse, due to your username, I am confused as to which stable this is?
@I am a horse, haha, I get it. Cause you're a horse and a stable is where horses are sheltered. You're funny, I like you.
@I am a horse, *Also leaves stable job to move to sweden and also go back to school*
@angrynarwhals, could be both! Who am I kidding? I had an unstable stable job. Hope things in Sweden are better!
@any username will do, *steals bags* "should have left America sooner!"
Im not turning to troll but it seems like that would be an unwise use of tax money...
@margallagher, it goes to the parents not the students
@funny pic veteran, but... If the parents are the tax payers then what's the point?
@JackoftheDead, the amount they get outweighs the taxes they pay.
@margallagher, but in America people on welfare get paid even more, so there's that. To be fair there are those out there that really do need it and it's great for that, but often these people are high school dropouts and abuse their benefits.
@PockyRubik, as an american I can sadly confirm...
@funny pic veteran, in Norway we get it right to us, the students, our parents don't pay for us to go to school. Also our university is free and so are books and all that. We also get free breakfast.
This is not true in the slightest, by the way
@Gooby, its true in the fact that they have high school students
@Gooby, Well... I don't know if you bothered with doing research, but I live in Sweden. And we do get money if we attend gymnasium.
@Gooby, yes it is true I've been over there on vacation. However the money doesn't go to you, it goes to your parents and is up to them what they spend it on.
Why aren't we funding this?
@CuteLittleDevil, because in America, socialism is considered by many to be inherently evil.
@Adolf Jamaal Hitler, because it is.
@LooneyBin, I don't think your going to get through to him on that point. *points at username*
@CuteLittleDevil, because Sweden has an income tax rate of about 50%
I'm Swedish and this is actually true *rides away on a moose*
@ TheHornyViking, roliga bilder tillater inte accenter, rasist javlar
@GuttfraNorge, Bitter kanske?
My allowance would go to her "fees".
Off-character: Lol, in Denmark we get between $300-450 per month. One more reason to love Scandinavia!
During college people used to get EMA (now known as something else) which meant if you attended you got money. Education Maintenance Allowance I believe it stood for...that was in the UK. But then uni took all that and a hell of a lot more, so a loss really
@TheWelshOne, Lol EMA died a death a long time ago, used to be £30 (a month? A week? Don't remember), now it's zilch. Nothing. So disappointed... I never saw it but my mate got it and I heard about it on the radio back in the day.
@AdBeckett, exactly this was all back in the day...
Well I think we should take some tips from our Swedish friends and have more motivation to pass high school
@Awesome Naked Taco, no its not.
@funny pic veteran, Its used in a different way though... Not for playstations but for educational purposes.
@Awesome Naked Taco, yea I know. I wasnt disputing that I was disputing that it is "fake" it goes to the parents not the students
We should spread the word and have everyone protest for like a week
This is because you can become a prostitute at age 15 there.
Somehow I think someone misinterpreted something they heard
If you expect payment to attend public school, then you deserve to be there in order to get educated on why you shouldn't get paid to go to school.
That’s why we need socialism
The only catch is you end up living in Sweden.
Screw it I'm going to Sweden
$187 can't buy the freedom we have in the USA...merica
187$? Well that's about 1/5 of what you'd make working 20 hours a week on minimum wage
Vil är du tro trololololololololololololololololololoIol

To Sweden !!!!!!!!!
Then your parents would have to pay like $3000 a year more in taxes (to make up for the bums who do the pay taxes) per child
Does that deal come with pancakes?
SWEDEN HERE I GO! -teleports-
As $187 I can confirm this
I want this because reasons
Well no wonder. They have wine bottle openers on their army knives. Country's got it right.
@RapperGoldfish, thats the Swiss dumbass..
@KingGooba, aren't you a scholar! Thanks king c*nt. Eat sh*t and kill yourself.
@RapperGoldfish, yes I am, try reading a book sometime! ;-)
Nice try, but it's still school...I refuse to read and write and you can't make me Sweden
"Mom!!!! We're going to Sweden!" "Hunny, you're 30, get out of my house lazy shjt"
Get paid to go to school and then pay it all back to go to college? Unless they get college paid too, in which case, *scoffs*. I'm confused...
@ BoscoStix, college is public and free in Sweden because they know the importance of education and want their citizens to be smart
Thats because some contries care about the education of their population, but thats none of my business *sips tea*
And lookit how diverse tha classroom environment is. Swedes, Asians, blacks. There's even an old dude in a pink shirt and sunglasses in the back
