I know this is an old pick and most likely nobody will read this, but just because somebody is in a wheelchair doesn't mean that they can't walk. My girlfriend of over two years, Annie, has an autoimmune disorder called transverse myelitis (similar to multiple sclerosis or MS) and has had to relearn how to walk. Transverse myelitis (or TM) Is essentially when the spine is attacked by an outside source, such as a virus. She was left with an inability to walk and spent months in the hospital. She was forced to give up playing soccer. While she walks around her house normally and uses two canes to help her walk longer distances, she becomes tired when walking and uses a wheelchair to help her get around. Insulting someone based only on a picture of them standing up from their chair, which may have taken them years to be able to do, is something that I can't just stand by and watch. Again I know that most people won't read this, but I feel like I needed to make a statement.
So she can stand. Doesn't mean she can walk
