Am I the only one that isn't that worried about Ebola? Maybe it's because I'm Canadian and Ebola can't survive in - 10 temperatures
@Phat Bastard, I live in the US, and I honestly think everyone is taking the Ebola thing way too seriously. There have only been a couple cases in the US, and they were contained. Everyone should be trying to help in Africa instead of freaking out here. But that's just my opinion. :P
@Phat Bastard, hi can I come live with you.
@Phat Bastard, thats -10 Celsius huh? :P
@The Lone Guppy, yep that's what we use in Canada
@The Lone Guppy, How much is that in freedom units?
@casypup, well below freezing, at 14℉
@casypup, 14 haha
@Phat Bastard, I possibly couldn't care less about it either. I live in Las Vegas, in the deserts of Nevada. It's pretty tough for just about any pathogen to spread around here with our weather and temperatures.
@casypup, 24 Hour News Channels gotta eat
@Phat Bastard, i mean I'm kinda worried because it is a 2 hour drive from my town to Dallas where it happened. I mean i don't think it'll fly overnight but it's kinda scary to think its close like that. But I'm not on the Internet spreading fear like the rest of the world
@Phat Bastard, I live in the US. I honestly think people are really blowing this out of proportion. I mean come on. There have been 3 confirmed ebola patients diagnosed in the US. One died because it was too late. The other two are in stable condition. We do not need to worry. There is no ebola outbreak in North America.
@casypup, i agree, it's just hysteria made by the masses
@casypup, you kinda have to take it seriously when you live in Dallas, and it's not as contained as you think, but if you don't live in Dallas or the area, you don't really have to worry
@Onions the dog, did you ever play pandemic?
@Onions the dog, while I somewhat agree, I have to say that I would rather have people be worried and get a little crazy. Not to the point of panic, but to the point that we're cautious and know that it is potentially dangerous. I think that's what has helped contained it so far.
@meowarina, y-you're leaving me?! Where did I go wrong! #rampill
@Onions the dog, There's a new epidemic every few years, I'm not concerned in the slightest. Does anyone even remember the H1N1 outbreak 4 years ago?
Nope, texan here and not worried at all
@Phat Bastard, *psst* when it spreads to NJ leave the door open im coming to you
@Onions the dog, but just think of when it hits Asia with the close quarters BAM Ebola-city
@Onions the dog, unless you touch bodily fluid from someone with Ebola there is no chance of catching it. People are just stupid and don't look up what they are afraid of
@Phat Bastard, I live in Dallas and my mom works at the sister hospital for the ebola patients, so I can't say the same.
@Magnamon, I Live it Vegas too! Lol
@Phat Bastard, aussie here I doubted it surviving in aus it's in Brisbane if it comes to adelade I'm taking a vacation to Ayres rock
@Onions the dog, it's the new swine flu which was the new bird flu which was the new something else etc. it doesn't transfer as easily as people think, it only transfers so easily in Africa because of traditions where they would touch the deceased and the poor sanitation.
@Phat Bastard, I don't know a thing about it and with everyone obsessing it just makes me ignore It even more
@Phat Bastard, in the midwest section of USA...above the longhorn lovers..not worried about isis either. Go ahead man...cough on me. See if i die...thats right. Freedom and country respect start with faith outside the body and understanding sacrifice for a cause. When we have fear, we lose our unity and stop being a nation of USA or Canada or England or of Africa. Martin luther king jr. Is a prime example of this and also not blindly following but knowing the consequences and going on with a goal of the true leadership power. The one of commanding respect and giving encouragement to others who see or hear you. Almost no disease survive in -10 F temps. Right?
@casypup, like the guy who joked at the poker table?...they shut the place down within 10 minutes dude. He was charged with causing fear or something. Stupid..so gullible.
@Magnamon, I don't get Fahrenheit. Celsius makes sense to me- it's modelled around water, with 0C being freezing and 100 being boiling temperature. What's Fahrenheit modelled around?
@Ribby, " Fahrenheit (symbol °F) is a temperature scale based on one proposed in 1724 by the German physicist Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit(1686–1736), after whom the scale is named." -Wikipedia
jokes on you, Nigeria has completely gotten rid of Ebola. everywhere else in Africa.... you're gonna have a bad time
@Frank Ocean, you're correct. Nigeria, even though they border the affected countries, has completely prevented an outbreak in their country (they have not eliminated it). However all the rest of Africa has been equally effective.
@Frank Ocean, Nigeria blocked it borders and kept the disease out but our government keeps letting hundreds people fly in from West Africa, something is upside down.
@CrazyRightWinger, Jesus, it isn't like everyone with Ebola is flying to the U.S.
I'm also not worried about ebola because I just saw that story where they found a puppy sized spider in the rainforest. Holy shjt 🏃
@Slaybroham Lincoln, I'm conflicted do we save the rain forest to provide oxygen or do we burn it down to extinguish that beastly existence of a spider
And then the infected climb up on each other like in World War Z and reach up to you and you become infected anyways.
Believe it or not kids: This reaction was the same reaction the USA had to HIV in the late 70s early 80s but because it was labeled a "gay" disease people went along their merry way until a little boy with AIDS by the name of Ryan White opened the eyes of American people.
Or hartford ct (idk if he does this at ever concert but i was at the one in hartford and he did and the venue looks right)
Actually guys Nigeria survived the 42 days without a case so now Nigeria is Ebola free
That awkward moment when you realize Nigeria is the only country that has gotten rid of ebola
Laughed way too hard at this...
