The movie is based off of history where women would work at this "bath house" and "service" any customers. Baba is what they would call the head lady who ran the building (hence her name being yababa). The no face constantly throws money because he's being "serviced" by every employee at the building. He throws everything he has at her but she is still refusing which makes him angry. That's the jist of this movie, there are obviously way more details online though.
@GreasedHalfDeafGirl, that and Chihiro had to change her name to Sen. Almost like a stripper changing her name to "Candy"
@GreasedHalfDeafGirl, you the real mvp
@GreasedHalfDeafGirl, Sooooooo sex or stripping
@Strider1321, sex and strip and whatever else they order from them
@GreasedHalfDeafGirl, mmmm so, where is this place *Chris Hansen: you realize that a little girl works there. Me:so I can stay away from it
@GreasedHalfDeafGirl, Dang what's the name of this movie again? Haven't seen it in like 10 years.
@TheAntiHistorian, spirited away
@GreasedHalfDeafGirl, oh in the childhood
This character represents greed. And she defeats him by not giving in to his monetary temptation. It does have the bathhouse backstory as well as GreasedHalfDeafGirl said.
Sooo... What does it mean? Anyone? Please?
That movie freaked me the fvck out when I saw it. I haven't watched it in years and it still finds its way into my nightmares
@sassyassturtle, when I first saw it I too was freaked out, but watching again as an adult it has become one of my favorites.
@sassyassturtle, I would fall asleep watching it on repeat every day when I was in elementary school. I ended up breaking my DVD player just because of that..
My childhood, like these womens' virginity, have been taken away.
@Dingus Prime, you could say it was... Spirited away
Still one of my favorites
Can ppl watch a movie without disassembling it plz? This is one of my fav movies of all time and from now on chihiro will alWays be a stubborn bath house whore
I saw a no-face last night in Waikiki on Halloween
Fridge horror at it's finest
