There's a bigger spider than that it's called " the Goliath bird eating spider" cuz it eats birds
@I like cheese , well with that logic, Camel Spiders… eat Camels.
@reb0rn369, well they do eat camels. They attach themselbes to the camels, stomach and sort of eat it, they have a very deadly slow acting paralitic poison that starts working about when the spider makes its way through the skin.
@I like cheese , most people kow the goliat bird eating spider as a tarantula. I kow that covers a lot of spiders, but that way people will kow what you are talking about.
@I like cheese , there's another big spider that's called the Japanese crab spider but I guess you could argue that it's technically not spider since its a crab. :p
@I like cheese , actually it doesn't, but it does eat many other things
@I like cheese , omfg help me! I'm a bird!!!
@I like cheese , camel spiders are more aggressive I think and crazy fast, so I'd rather be around a Goliath spider than camel spider
@deal with it, Nope, many species of tarantula do eat birds, they jump from trees onto them and eat them.
@I like cheese , Goliath bird eaters are actually smaller than these, they just have a fatter body
@I like cheese , it doesn't only eat birds, but that's the most important thing to remember if you see one. "dude, be careful, that thing can eat a bird!
But cheese, it may be bigger the camel slider but I'm sure for it ain't as scary
Ever had one of those bastards go up your leg? I didn't think so.
@Serikaku, I have killed three of them in my house turns out they live in the US
^ who gives a sh!t
Yeah. They're real.
Damnit. It's 12 am.
@Bigaba, 12:45 _
Congratulations to everyone who saw that myth busters episode( or whatever show) that it is in fact, two spiders attacking each other, but are smaller than the guy's sleeve holding them
The camel spider is actually not a spider at all. As you can tell it has more than 8 legs, which means it is not an arachnid. However it can run up to 20 mph and doesnt just chase you for a little bit, it will chase you until it gets you. Their "bites" arent pinches or stabs like most insects, and it doesn't have venom. The camel spider instead uses its knifelike jaws to stab into the victim, and then turns them outwards to latch under the skin. Then, a smaller mouth (kindof like alien from alien vs predator) comes out and eats the insides of the victim. It is called the camel spider because it has been reported to kill a camel with a single bite.
I went to Egypt when I was 9, and we were in the desert, and some guy said to watch out for camel spiders because it would eat me...0_o
I saw this on the news. It's actually 2 spiders right there. But if I found one of those in my house, I'd sell the house and move to Spain.
The top part of the spider looks like a penis. Just pointing that out
The spider centipede?
Literally 12 PM trying to fall asleep... Thanks stuckpixel
