False, when I yell “Genug!“ she shuts up immediately.. Dogs will listen to every command with the proper training :)

@SWAT, yes my plan worked *waves* tell your grandma I said Hi
@Your Grandmas Tits, genug means "enough" in German
Dogs respect dominance. Yelling louder and more aggressively than them would probably have the desired effect.
@Praetor, barking is basically dog speak for "hey, shut up. It's not your turn to speak" leading to dogs barking at each other when there isn't a set superior, but they back down then the established alpha speaks. This doesn't mean they are angry, just "don't know who is leader." Animal behavior is actually somewhat tribal (or pack-minded) but it has it's survival purposes.
Or just train your dog better
This is actually true. I have to call my dog in a happy voice to get her to come to me while barking. It is because if I yell angrily she thinks that I'm angry with her, if I yell happily she knows that even though I see what she is barking at but I'm still happy
And my cat... Well, he just kinda does cat things.
And I'm a dog trainer. (Accidently hit post before finishing) I always advise this to anyone who has problems calling their dog in from barking at the fence.
I never thought of it like this. Looks like I'll be calling my Chinese neighbor for help after all.
