The burglars, a 19-year-old and a juvenile, broke into a barn owned by Kraig Stockard, 54, of Delhi, Calif., and stole about 50 CDs they thought were blank, according to a statement from Deputy Tom MacKenzie of the Merced County Sheriff's Department.
When the thieves downloaded the disc, they discovered the child porn. They went straight to police, despite knowing that they'll be admitting the burglary.
The two burglar suspects have not been arrested for the robbery.
@TREVOR MOFO PHILLIPS, Only if it is in an Investigation, that was an "anonymous tip." Think of it as picture evidence being dropped off at the police station. But you are smart person for realizing that (no sarcasm)
@TheCandyManVan, I've read the full story, he didn't reveal himself. The thief found a stash of it and took that as well. He bundled up all the revise nice and videos, and left it where police could find it, complete with names.
"I'm telling you, officer, I've done alot house robberies and I've done alot of stuff in my life. But this is where I draw the line! This nasty sicko needs to get right with the Lord!"
@Killing instincts , I'm into computer science as a hobby and future career, so I know how to encrypt computer data to prevent it from being discovered. I do it with a text file containing a bunch of my passwords and some audio files of songs I'm writing just in case I get hacked.
