@Zodiac308, yes I see the humor but (if I am thinking what he is referencing is American sniper) then he has no right I bet you if he lost some weight and exercised and join any branch and be subjected to have any of his friends die either in route or at the hospital, in there hands or not he would be definitely be singing a different tune. He also seems to be part of the group that calls America imperialistic. Well let me know since what Korea when we have gained any land?

@Equalist, yea this guy is equating the actual soldiers to the people who give the orders. They got in the military with honest and honorable intentions to protect and serve this country. They were put in incredibly taxing conditions and essentially a rock and a hard place, so I would blame the idiot who gave the wrong Intel or the politician who thought it was okay to sacrifice the soldiers lives for their politics.
-
@Equalist, Americans are so butthurt about anything that involves their Armed Forces. This is clearly not insulting or disrespecting your soldiers. This is simply stating that your politicians believe that the best way to make the world a better place is to just invade countries and begin eliminate the threat at any cost.

@1Reyesda, nah, some people were talking about you on another picture about how you go through and down vote every one of their comments. Only going off of that. Do you guys really think that the people who crashed into the World Trade Center thought themselves evil? They thought of themselves as heroes to their cause, as do most terrorist organizations. That's what I'm talking about in my first comment on this thread.
-
@1Reyesda, I definitely don't think American soldiers are terrorists, but some groups out there brainwash their children into thinking that western culture is evil, so they might judge us based on our heritage and society rather than our actions. I respect that you have oodles of patriotism for our country.

We only fight to protect our assets. America has lost righteous intentions and turned to a warfare policy of greed and power. I cannot condone the loss of our soldiers' lives for our consumption of oil. Nor can I condone the subjugation of the people of these country from the huge divide of wealthy government from the poor populous. Our soldiers are sad because they fight, kill, and die for no real cause. If you can argue otherwise please tell me, for all I see is needles suffering and violence.

@PrestonRX, he doesn't disrespect soldiers, he criticises war, which is usually true to at least some extent. Which would be aimed at politicians for starting wars and certainly not soldiers. He then criticises war movies (in reference fictional or dramatised versions of soldiers, not actual veterans)
-
@Zooth, well it's not really an american thing to say. Americas stands on a principal of free speech and diversity of opinion. The comment reflects more along the lines of violent nationalism. But still i am totally in support of the military and if someone chooses to be directly against us than yah they are the enemy. Still blind loyalty is a nationalistic concept.
-
@Robochi, it's not about America, it's about the people who risk their lives going over seas to fight in war. I think most people here are mature enough to be able to laugh at America, but this guy is making fun of something that a lot of country's soldiers have gone through, and that's why this is stupid
-
@mrnini, but the UN inspection team concluded Iraq did not have any yet you went ahead and destroyed a country for the sake of oil and construction contracts. Hey I'm not specifically blaming the Americans for aggression and expansionism - lots of civilisations throughout time have done this BUT Americans dress it up as a "fight for freedom" when we all know that's bullsh|t
-
No he doesn't criticize veterans, but he does make light of PTSD, which is not ok. I was taught to only have respect for the men and women in uniform, so making light of this disease that claims the lives of more veterans any year than anything else is not ok with me. If you don't support war, that's fine. But if you don't support the people who give you that right to have a choice, then we'll have a problem. Sorry for the rant friend
Here come the fights *sits back with a bowl of popcorn*
