Mom: "Good one."

@MrWonka, What the what?
Poor child, his mother's understanding of evolution is seriously flawed.
@shakeweight, weren't there a bunch of humans species around back then and we were just the species that adapted the best or something like that? My knowledge is pretty low on human evo sadly lol
@I Dexios Divine I, It's believed we came from a combination of Neanderthals and something else. There were several ancient humanoid species that aren't 100% identical to humans as we know them today, but share a large amount of common traits.
@shakeweight, evolution is flawed
@hornsbee , evolution is not flawed, the direct lineage theories are (where people try to guess the exact path that Homo sapiens) but that's because we don't have exact understand of the path.
@The Megaton Bomb, read the whole first chapter of the bible Genesis. Shows God created the earth...Gen1:1 in the beginning god created the heaven and earth...
@hornsbee , you're a troll, right?
@Cpzombie, haha nope
@hornsbee , lies, that's like believing the earth is flat.
@The Megaton Bomb, Imma just jump in before a flame war starts...
The deaths of countless people will be attributed to your flame war.
Don't do this to us, you two, go in the corner and make nice before I call my friend, the ReligionSniper...
@Cpzombie, of course it's not flat, everyone knows that it's oloid shaped.
@hornsbee , Religion is just a tool used to control people by manipulating them to do good or evil (depends) with the threat of eternal damnation. Man created god, not the other way around. Some people say "God made everything" as an explanation for everything, but there's no evidence behind that reasoning, and there will still be another question created of "who created god?", so it's an inherently flawed argument.
@pirey, YOU'RE DOING WHAT I SAID NOT TO DO. DEAR GOD MAN, YOU'LL KILL US ALL!
@Commandshark, B*tch please... All the REAL scientists know it's shaped like a cube.
@pirey, I wasn't going to get in to this until you said that. You seem to have things backwards. God created man, not the other way around.
@pirey, And also, you're flawed in thinking that He needed to be created.
@Dragon Blade Talon, Scientists found Neanderthal genes in modern human DNA, which supports the theory of interbreeding before the Neanderthals "died out".
@I Dexios Divine I, to answer your question, there was a common ancestors of Neanderthals, monkeys and current humans. But all three were separate and the Neanderthals died out. Monkeys and humans are like cousins, one isn't descended from the other
@ archiethesailor, creationism vs evolution debate over, you want to talk about creationism do it on another reply thread, this one was originally about evolution.
@hotel California, that is correct so many people don't understand that it's not that we evolved from monkeys we just share a common ancestor
@Dragon Blade Talon, I believe the commonly accepted explanation is that we came mostly from the species known as Cro-Magnon (named for a region in France), but that there are traces of Neanderthal ancestry in humans today. I'm not sure it's 100% of humanity that has that trace though. So to sum up, Cro-Magnons were essentially modern humans, who did come into contact and breed with Neanderthals at various points.
Which is worse... The side that is inbred, or the side that is black? #soracistidkwhyihitsend
@HadesComics, obviously the inbred side, because they are the only ones who'd ask such a stupid question.
@HadesComics, i dont want to answer and be yelled at by everyone else lol
@HadesComics, Oh you were so close to a downvote storm
You're both wrong!We all began as the sauce of the great Flying Spaghetti Monster!I mean seriously,haven't you ever noticed the planets look a lot like meatballs?STRING theory?The sun is our great microwave!HALE THE FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER!!
@Unownsoldier385, is this Scientology
@Devils Avocado, No, this is Patrick.
And that's when the fight started...
We're gunna need some aloe vera and some cold water to treat this sick BURN
So the dads family are all inbred
So the dads family is basically inbred for generations upon generations. Gross.
@notinthenews, we're all inbred, if you go back far enough.
This kid is screwed
Both are wrong.
Well this doesn't seem so bad... *looks at comments* OH SWEET FUDGE SAUCE!!!! *hides in the debate bunker all night* I'M NOT COMING OUT!!!! YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!!!!!
These comments awake the dragon.
Move along before you succumb to the comment war.
We have another burn victim over here!
I have a great idea, let's argue about evolution vs. Adam and eve?
@Ccooper108, people get the Adam and Eve story wrong, don't quote me but they weren't the ONLY humans in the beginning, just the one the story focused on. Could be wrong though
@I Dexios Divine I, Adam and Eve were the only humans in the beginning, they sinned and then had children
@Ccooper108, nothing to argue about, it's like people arguing about whether the world is flat.
@Ccooper108, Well, Evolution threw the first punch, but Adam and Eve provoked it. Plus, Evolution was outnumbered, which made it an unfair fight. It's been awhile since I watched the vid.
@Cpzombie, That's just silly. The world is obviously a cube.
@Ccooper108, why is this still an argument? Like, religious people are entitled to their texts and stuff but it seems like most of them are just fine with the fact that the world is round, there are other stars than our sun, etc. Why is this particular story so difficult to for people to drop? It doesn't invalidate their whole belief system or their morals, it's one creation story out of thousands
@Luna 5, I'm not talking about whether the world is round I'm talking about the beliefs of evolution versus the beliefs of Adam and eve for the creation of the human species
@SimonPetrikov, WHAT! Haven't you had astrology? The world is a 24 sided die, whichever side is pointing at the crane constellation at your birth controls your destiny.
@hornsbee , that's what's wrong about it, pretty sure all humans aren't inbred so the story being only 2 humans as the beginning is not possible
@Ccooper108, for one thing, even if you accept the whole all powerful being in the sky part, you need at least 50 (I think, that or 150) genetically different pairs of people to populate without everyone dying from being inbred
@Cpzombie, look up Pitcairn Island. 27 people settled it in the 1700s.
@hornsbee , there are non-canonical stories outside of the bible, like the story of Adam and Lilith. ;)
