@Bushwhacker94, Teachers, especially college professors, serve several roles. They are suppose to be mentors and guides to their students. Being in a relationship with a student would not allow the teacher to fulfill the role as mentor or guide, since other students wouldn't trust that teacher anymore. Teachers and professors are suppose to be someone that students can trust and rely on, when they start dating one of their students, they lose all credibility with their other students and colleagues.

@CriTiKa1, no it's actually a pretty good school. There's a difference in going to office hours and trusting someone and hero worshipping. You're supposed to trust everyone till they give you a reason otherwise. Nobody looks at professors or teachers as more than tools of instruction anymore. Nobody has for a long time.

Why is this a problem? The kid has a good time, I can say with around 95% certainty that unless he was gay or in a relationship he enjoyed it. Seriously, the age of concent stupid. Around 10th grade is when you fully understand sex. But 15 seems young, so I'll say 11th grade, age 16 should be the legal age of concent. Because this is really fvcking dumb.

@AceWolf456, It seems dumb when it's a female teacher getting in trouble for having sexual relations with a male student, because obviously he wants it. But when it's a male teacher manipulating some dumb teenage girl into sex because she believes he actually cares about her, that's when it's a problem. But we can't have a different age of consent for boys and girls, because people would throw a fit.
Heh, one of my high school teachers got arrested for banging a kid in her classroom, multiple times
