The age isn't 3 it's like 6 months. They are born to become veal if they make it past 6 months than they're not going to become veal and they have some other purpose like milk or breeding or hamburgers/steak

It's actually 16 weeks for it to truly be veal

After 3 years old its no longer considered veal

So I watched a documentary they tie new born calves to the ground by their necks to keep the meat soft and not strong so the veal tastes better...... I cried so hard
