10/10 would jump off the top into a haystack
@Kangaroo Jacked, aim for the bushes
@Kangaroo Jacked, don't forget to sync first.
@thatguyuknow, THERE GOES MY HERO
@Kangaroo Jacked, would probably miss because I pushed the stick slightly too far to the right before jumping and now I'm falling twenty stories to my death on the cobblestones literally inches from the haystacks.
No actually these Gothic buildings were made so massive so that they would humble any person looking at them. It was supposed to make you feel small compared to God.
@BunnyGruff, yeah! HISTORY B!TCHES!
@BunnyGruff, that doesn't matter because apparently Kdubs beats them.
@BunnyGruff, their intentions were still to "teach into the heavens" as I remember from my classes. Not trying to be a djck that's what I remember learning
@BunnyGruff, has anyone seen La Sagrada Familia in Spain? Look it up, construction on it is continuing and has been for over a century!
@BunnyGruff, but I thought vanity was a sin? What about love thy neighbor? I guess those middle easterners are reading some fvcked up shlt "deliver unto thy neighbor a stick up thine asses"
@BunnyGruff, I'm not following that logic because where does God doesn't come into that equation when the building was made by men.
@RevNateBootylove, also, knowing the way the Church did things back then, I get the feeling that they really wanted you to feel insignificant next to the Church more than next to God
@BunnyGruff, Checkmate, Atheists
@BunnyGruff, You're partially right, because the high architecture of Gothic churched was also made to be closer to heaven, closer to god.
@BunnyGruff, waste of production
@BunnyGruff, Rockets have the same effect when viewed up close. First you see just how big the things are, and then you realize they actually move by their own power.
@BunnyGruff, and interestingly enough science seems to have the same effect on spiritual folks
@BunnyGruff, in contrast, the Tower of Babel was made in an attempt to reach heaven. So a church doing the same thing would be foolish. But knowing the church of that day, it's certainly possible that they avoided a biblical example and instead sought to praise themselves.
If you look closely, you can notice that the church is actually a rocket in disguise.
Another picture implying that religion and science are mutually exclusive. I'll file this one away in "trash".
@Captain Swordsman, categorise it under "trash posted by a neckbeard" too, there's a lot more of that recently
But the rockets didn't touch the sky... The breached the atmospheres and went into space.
@TheOneWhoArrestedYou, which is technically the sky. I think... actually nevermind. It is the sky if i, Space Jesus, say it is the sky.
@Muffin Jizz, hey you didn't pay for that! *grabs back popcorn
@Sir Bionic, Sir, please don’t touch the popcorn, it isn’t even real...
So did my penis.
Why can't religion and science just get along?
@Beast Boy, religious people trying to put religious laws in the govt.
@LostKatt, If those laws protect the religion, and it's not hindering the rights of any other group, I'm okay with it, and it shouldn't be a problem to begin with.
@Beast Boy, well, i meant the ones that hinder others. the other ones that don't are fine. mainly the ones that try to get a whole nation to follow some religious rule.
But... you can't touch the sky... :l
@some other black guy, Can't take it from me either. *Flies off on Serenity*
@SimonPetrikov, but that's still not touching... the sky has no physical form that allows us to make physical contact... *gets crushed by sky*
I don't even believe in God, but this post is just stupid...
Come on guys we should know by know that scientology is the real deal
Hendrix kissed the sky.
Aetheists criticize religious people for being "holier than thou" then make things like this. smh people need to realize there are assholes of all beliefs, races, and cultures.
Not even religious but I love the design of churches like that, totally breathtaking.
But science wanted to touch the moon...
Hey look guys, more obnoxious intolerant internet atheist jerks!
No joke about touching little boys? Oh ok then
Kinda rude picture
The god of my religion created the sky and everything else for that matter. So technically religion touched the sky first
I hate these churches the block so much light it's cold below the@
Why can't we have both?...You're welcome
God is real and luvs me (not only for my dashing good looks) but for my #personality
There's an actual heaven, and then there's space. Last time I checked astronauts weren't living in golden mansions once they made it into the sky.
I've been to that cathedral, it's located in Caen France
So many political posts this week :(
Is that an x-wing cathedral?
