We're reaping the benefits of our ancestors
@Solidus, technically yes, but so were the Egyptians back in like 200 BC, and most of them lived a pretty shjtty life except for the Pharoah. We're reaping the benefits of people basically in the last couple hundred years and even today, because all these technologies are relatively new and are still being developed today. I see the picture as, all that immense struggle led to amazing things like the TV and sofas and easily accessible food and extremely safe shelter....
@Solidus, bring justice to their legacy
Wait... People weren't like this in 200 B.C?
@DickButtDoodles, ask your mama, she would know.
@DickButtDoodles, It's a conspiracy orchestrated by the world's scientists. We've always had this technology, but scientists have hogged it all for themselves, only giving us a taste of it every once in a while. We must rebel.
@CriTiKa1, reminds me of the Jew's hoarding of science in Wolfenstein the new order...
Mom tell me, Grug, to walk pet raptor. Me not sacrifice enough to sun god. Sun God angry. Make ground hot. Me put leash on raptor and burn feet. Me fall down before even get out door. Me open door, me get on floor. Me walk dinosaur.

Pretty sure every one of our ancestors didn't survive
Only 4 billion bc kids remember. Ah those were the days.
To be fair we must be pretty good at surviving if we easily make it without having to move an inch.
Resting on your laurels.
