Directions unclear, shoved computer in the triangle hole
@Gasolineflavoredgum, you should talk to a doctor about that
@Gasolineflavoredgum, it's supposed to go in the square hole, ffs
I just bought a new GPU yesterday! GTX 970
@The Handlebar , you're gonna be playin all the games with that baby
@The Handlebar , let me know how it handles.... I'm thinking about upgrading to that one.... ;)
@GRANDMAster Flash, The Witcher Wild Hunt gonna be so purty.
@Frichie, You got it.
@The Handlebar , Its gonna look amazing...especially Triss
@The Handlebar , I bought it, though I forgot to look at the requirements. I think I meet them, but we'll find out
@Cmnder Shepard, Yeah. I had to buy a new 750W PSU as well but luckily those are fairly cheap.
@The Handlebar , I bought a 1000 watt in a system that required 350W. Now it required 850. I'm glad I was dumb.
@Kalam1ty, Always go overboard on a power supply. You can never have too much power.
@Ximinipot, Or porn
@The Handlebar , Got a 970 here too! It's amazing!
@The Handlebar , I have one. It's sexy.
@The Handlebar , make sure you set your resolution for Duke nukem 3d to 640x480 to really show it off.
@The Handlebar , I have one, I really like it
@The Handlebar , GTX 970 is a beast! I installed it two months ago and it's been awesome. Everything is so much smoother
@The Handlebar , I've got an r9 280x :D
@The Handlebar , good choice! I too have a 970 and have not been disappointed yet ^^
@The Handlebar , I have one too! It runs about 300 fps on CSGO, and runs games on ultra. Pretty cool if you ask me.
@The Handlebar , woo 1080 over here
I think they skipped a step or two here...
@TheKnightsWhoSayNi, pretty sure they are talking about pluging in the wires
@Killing instincts , exactly. They skipped getting down behind your desk, cramming your flashlight back there, feeling around trying to find the cable, guessing, failing, hitting your head on the desk, concussion, bleeding out, death.
@TheKnightsWhoSayNi, .... why wouldn't you just move the computer out then just plug in every thing
@Killing instincts , because maybe i duct taped it to the ground to keep the floor in place.
@TheKnightsWhoSayNi, move th desk
@Killing instincts , but maybe the monitor is glued to the desk, see. I'd have to unplug the monitor from the computer, move the desk then move the desk back to replug everything in.
@TheKnightsWhoSayNi, pulg the computer in then move the desk back then plug the monitor in
@Killing instincts , I actually don't have a computer. Or a desk. Or a house.
I do have a shrubbery though.
@TheKnightsWhoSayNi, well at least you have that
Next step is just booting it up, installing the OS, licencing the OS, creating an admin user, log in, download and install drivers (after downloading and installing a driver for the nic off another pc), turn off the Godforsaken evil that is UAC, possibly join to a domain, apply group policy, install office, configure Outlook (praise the Lawd for autodiscover!), deploy AV and backup, write details into documentation, install web browsers and 3rd party apps, configure apps and set up a backdoor access and then you can hand it over to a user so they can have a crack at breaking it or complain a brand new PC fresh out the box is too slow or won't let them play Facebook games in their lunch break.
Only after you flip the cord upside down a million times
I still can't do this some times
If it fitz.....I plugz???
Easy I'm a computer technician
university in nutshell
Math in a nutshell
but seriously pc building is pretty simple
You can plug in the back bits, but the inside is a little more complicated (network administrator)
Yay! *somehow manages to turn PC into RC plane*
This is strangely accurate
🎵A B C easy as 1 2 3🎵
@sneskid, kidding aside PC building is basically that.
@sneskid, yeah, if you can plug the cords in right, you can probably plug a chip into a mobo too
