Huh, remember seeing this as a US Aircraft carrier, and a Canadian lighthouse
@40 to Pun, same here borther
@40 to Pun, I've seen it with like 4 different nations in each slot. It's been passed around more than a blunt at Woodstock at this point.
@40 to Pun, not enough crumpets, tea, or wank, and the irish sound too sober and proper to be believable.
@40 to Pun, when I was at the maritime academy one of the professors put this on the projector the first day of class. That was 2003. And yes, it was us/canada
@40 to Pun, it's like the O1 and E9 not saluting story
@40 to Pun, the one I saw on youtube was a Spanish lighthouse
@40 to Pun, I saw it as a usa ship and a mexican lighthouse...and a more recent one with a voice recording with it
@Jaune Arc, were blunts a thing back then? If you said joint or splif, I'd agree.
There has never been a HMS Britannia that was an aircraft carrier. The last HMS Britannia was a pre-dreadnought class battleship that was sunk by a U-Boat in 1918
@fulber, that and this can’t be real simply based on the fact that the Royal Navy doesn’t have that many ships anymore.
The Irish really don't give a fück, do they?
@El Batman, thru out history the Irish haven’t given a fvck!!!
@El Batman, "Fockin crash then ya cheeky cvnt"
@El Batman, the irish hate the british.
source: everyone i asked when i toured there for a week
Let them hit the rocks at this point.
@ThePandaPool , hey, the Irish did their job. If the Brits ran aground it would be noted that they didnt acknowledged a course correction
@Guy Fawkes, exactly
British: so be it.
Leaves a litteral crater where the island used to be. Sails right through.
British: shouldve moved 15 degrees.
As a former Naval officer I can tell you that this is highly unlikely.
It is unfortunately false. Apparently this joke goes as far back as ships being on the water and lighthouses guiding them
Yeah lighthouses don’t use radio to warn peeps. The name says it all.
Three destroyers is probably enough to demolish that Irish coast so...
There is an actual video where the ship is from the US and the lighthouse is Spanish.
