I do that because it is so difficult for me to share my emotions, that it's easier to lock everything up so I don't have emotions. I'm assuming other people don't want to make everyone sad or something.
@nunatak, if you have a sword in your neck people are already sad probably :/
@Meowwwwww, dammit lol, I was trying to get deep man, but in all fairness, a sword in the neck is kinda sad
@nunatak, Never make the mistake of holding it all in without a aafe release. Trust me.
@Krinko, I've been completely emotionless for years with a few periods in between where I had feelings but I'm perfectly fine, although every once in a while something will bring them out and I'm depressed but that only lasts for a few minutes
@nunatak, It can still be bad for you. A lot of your emotional activity can attribute to physical health. If you feel depressed about something, then you need to habe someone to talk to. There is also the matter of discerning depression and regular sadness. Its natural to be a little down on occasion. However, depression is a serious emotional condition that affects your behavior and habits. I highly suggest studying psychology because it is very helpful.
@nunatak, l bottled my emotions for about 8 years because a lot of my friends around me were depressed and I felt like I had to be that pillar of support for them. Don't make that mistake, bottling your emotions isn't healthy, find someone that you feel like you can open up to.
@nunatak, I'm in a similar position. There's honestly no-one I trust enough to share everything with apart from my cat, and she gives no fvcks.
@Krinko, wow my comment didn't reply to you, it's at the bottom of the list though lol
@nunatak, Prettymuch the same here
@Sniper of Puns, once you stop caring about anything there was nothing to share lol
@Zephyr48, my comment is at the bottom of the list for some reason, meant to reply to yoy,
@venom1145, do you like it more or less than having feelings?
@nunatak, Sortof a Tie Liking and Disliking. sometimes its convenient other times it isn't
@venom1145, I personally prefer it, but I'm also a soldier so maybe the army trained me this way?
@nunatak, Not sure but it sounds Possible
@nunatak, I used to be like that, almost no emotion, and I was neutral and nonchalant with everything. The beginning of this year, I realized that I really wanted to spend the rest of my life with someone else, not alone. That thought got me infatuated with someone, and it seems as if it opened up an entirely different side of me, someone who's more emotional, caring, and happy. Of course, it comes with its side-affects of sometimes feeling very down, but I'd never go back to being emotional-less because of that.
@turkwinif, I have a girlfriend and although I can't feel it I love her dearly
@nunatak, someone finally understands me
@peabeetheanimeneko , We're like twins now
@nunatak, I'll say it again, depression and sadness are two very different things. It seems more like you just get sad temporarily rather than depressed. People tend to label general sadness for depression, when the two are really quite different. Actual depression is characterized by lethargy, fatigue/overly tired, and not being able to do normal things do to these barriers. Depression is a very serious mental condition that should not be taken lightly. If you feel like wgat you have may be depression, then you should see a doctor, therapist or psychiatrist. In case you may doubt my credibility, I have studied psychology.
@nunatak, That's like, exactly how I am. Whenever I get upset in public, like want to cry upset, then I go completely blank. I refuse to show any kind of emotion. And then when I'm mad, I just ignore the person I'm mad at until I can get over it. I don't think people really care how I feel, and if I try to tell them they upset me, they get super defensive and it's like I have no right to my emotions. So, I just don't let other people see them.
@Krinko, also, I just wanted to say I understand about depression (I know you weren't talking to me but I said I'm like him so idk) because I have anxiety and I hate when people use that when they aren really anxious. I'm going to a therapist to see if I am depressed. It may only be situational though.
@nunatak, I feel you man
@Meowwwwww, or cheering
Im always the one asking and when they answer like this I think they don't trust me at all :"(
@80think08, it's them, not you, I promise man read my other comment for an explanation
@80think08, dont feel that way dude some of just feel like sharing makes us bjtches is all. Whiskey and a smoke is all i need!
I am that friend
It's just a flesh wound
I'm fine it's just an accessory geez you don't understand me
@ThePooper, I'm not doing it for attention! Ugh!
There is nothing to open up about my life is good, also I'm not bottling it up, it's just a lack of emotions, kinda like a psychopath
When you take the "fighting" part of fighting for women's rights too far and remember that you don't actually know how to use a sword
I release my emotions by gaming, it just helps forget about everything.
"Try this one... It looks better with those curls. "
My physical health is pretty good, I run every other day and go to the gym on the off days, also like I said I'm only depressed for a couple minutes then I feel nothing,
So here is the rest of the update...
I could have sword that you weren't ok.
We are Sid.
