@Raaach, nobody is offending me which makes me offended
@Muffin Jizz, haha this reminds me of Eminems song Rain Man. One of his more clever pieces.
@Raaach, I'm actually not offended. This isn't funny. It's so true that it's painful people don't realize it.
@Raaach, something is wrong with you people. But I love it.
@Middle Finger Emoji, YOU PEOPLE?!?? What is THAT supposed to mean?! I'm offended on so many levels right now....
@BaconPopsicle, Don't mind me, just sitting and eating popcorn
@IIIIIIIIIlllll, I'm offended that you all expect me to give a sh¡t
@Devils Avocado, I don't remember making any of these comments.
OMG! Thank you. I'm black and my "sister" thinks that all white people are evil. She's also big on ridiculous conspiracies. -_-
Wrong! Green people with blue stripes and red polka dots are the master race. Every other race is obviously inferior to them
@Your racist relative, Reminds me of a comment I made once on a similar picture. I said we could end racism if we died everyone green, and then said "green master race." Amazing that someone else on here thought something similar.
The top images are a black man and a white man, the bottom images are nîggers and white trash
THE CONE NIPPLE PEOPLE RULE!! RACE WAR!
Im just wondering why people judge what someone else is doing. If he wants to be "ghetto" let him be. Thats what he really want to be
@swooz, I agree. But if people have the right to be "ghetto," people also have the right to judge.
@Ich bin ein Berliner, I'm sure Swooz is happy with everyone having the right to judge. This isn't Nazi Germany ;)
But Swooz is saying you shouldn't judge people for how they look, even though you should definitely have the right to.
@swooz, I believe the point is that black people think they're being oppressed by police and others when in fact it's the presentation of oneself which may bring about prejudice and profiling. Regardless of the skin of someone, if you look like a thug, prepare to be treated like a thug. If you look like an upstanding citizen, you can expect to be treated like one.
@SWAT, Ding dong you are wrong
@MayITakeYourHatSir, if I speak incorrectly, feel free to correct me, kind sir.
@SWAT, We don't think we're being oppressed, we are. It is happening. It's a thing, and that's not up for debate. Also, we can never ever ever stop presenting ourselves as black so it doesn't matter what clothes we wear if someone holds prejudice it's a done deal. If someone in a position of power wants to profile you then it's a wrap. Simple as that.
@MayITakeYourHatSir, true. There certainly are racist white people who will make negative judgments on you simply because you're black. But when you dress as the young men on the bottom of this picture, you're welcoming the judgment and encouraging it. The profile of young black men being thugs is encouraged when young black men dress as thugs. But only you can reverse the image. Work hard, get a job and support yourself and present yourself as an upstanding member of society like the men on the top of the image and you can expect to be treated respectfully as such. There will still be those racists who'll not accept you regardless, but they're ignorant, and they represent a very small minority. The masses will accept and respect you.
@SWAT, Yeah, if those racist people were just like 10 hicks in a swamp that'd be fine, but they're not are they? They're everywhere and a lot of them are in positions of power so we end up with institutional racism. Then there's people, just like you, who aren't racist per se but aren't helping either because they keep buying into the complacency that the 'true racists' want you to have. There's levels to this. It goes deeper and spans broader than what we've been taught.
@MayITakeYourHatSir, ok, so what would you prefer I do? If I'm buying into this complacency of which you speak, how would you propose I go about it? I cannot change people's perspective on one another. Sure, I can make memes of examples of positive people who look like thugs, but that only goes so far, and it's one example. What we need is a new wave of young men and women. Black, white, asian, hispanic, everything. A new movement to counter the presumptuous attitude of America. If the very same people, whom are often the subject of prejudice, were to create a group that caused good in their community. Maybe they would clean up their neighborhoods, help elderly people bring groceries to their cars, hand out water bottles at marathons, etc. Maybe call it "#changetheprofile". Instead of exacerbating the situation like the blscklivesmatter movement, they will instill in the minds of Americans that everyone can be a positive influence, regardless of how you look.
@SWAT, you could be on your knees worshiping the ground they walk on and apologizing for your skin color, and she probably still wouldn't be satisfied
When your white fat ass brother tryna be cool
Yea why are those guys dressed so nice who are they trying to impress?
@THE Wild Bill, their employers
I'm offensive and I find this white
1. Why was a light-skinned man picked instead of a dark skinned one like those in the bottom photo? Why weren't other light skinned men picked to be in the bottom photo? (This is called colorism)
2. The white boys still benefit from privilege and white supremacy no matter what they look like or where they come from.
3. Why does the black man have to wear a whole suit whereas just a button up shirt and a skinny necktie is sufficient for the white man.
4. How are you gonna compare grown men to teenagers?
5. For the love of all that is holy, educate yourselves on the history of racial strife in America so that you don't make and share idiotic crap like this.
@MayITakeYourHatSir, let's be honest here, you'd whine and bitch about this regardless of what pics were used
@Kangaroo Jacked, Yes I would! Because it perpetuates the idea of the "post-racial" society that we've all been indoctrinated with
@MayITakeYourHatSir, this is not tumblr, if you want to be taken seriously with your idiotic and regressive ideas, the only place for that is tumblr. If you are a troll, congratulations, you've espoused a stupid opinion. Yay. Have fun wallowing in abject misery and suspicion of others. How about we don't care about something so trivial as how much melanin is in someone's skin and look at them based on their merits as a human being. Look at people as individuals. Step out of your culturally Marxist bubble and see every human being for what they are: a person. Nothing prejudiced was meant by the pictures chosen, you've simply been indoctrinated to see offense where there is none. Also, go shove your white privilege up your ass. Tell the Eastern European Serbs or Bosnians in abject poverty, who were victims of ethnic "cleansing" how privileged they are. Sympathize with the plight of all the downtrodden and impoverished, not just people who are the the same color as you.
@MayITakeYourHatSir, or people like you could continue to drive a racial wedge into every possible topic. Identifying by your race or ethnic background is exactly the opposite of what MLK tried to teach. He would be pissed.
@MayITakeYourHatSir, You may not take my hat.
@MayITakeYourHatSir, Seriously every time you comment the funny pics community becomes a little more like tumblr, please get the fvck off this app you racist!
@MayITakeYourHatSir, 1. I'm not sure what you're saying.
2. Absolutely correct.
3. I think you're looking too hard. I'm sure they just googled "black man dressed up" and "white man dressed up" and those were the best images.
4. ...not the point.
5. Educate, yes.
Stop making nice clothes and healthy food so expensive then.
I came here for funny pics, not this!
White people are so fly
