Trying to improve my basketball game. Any tips all you physically inclined folks?
@Beggar Mugger, get good scrub.
Jk I’m not physically inclined and you’re probably better than me so like you’ve got that going for you which is nice.
@Beggar Mugger, get your head out of your ass, that's what my coach always said
@Yung Saltine Cracker, I don't know man, it's pretty far up there
@theduuuude, that's what my dad said as well... jk he doesn't know either
@Beggar Mugger, i got better after watching many nba videos and trying to replicate them, it expands your knowledge of whats possible at his moment for you and what plays you are not ready yet so you can set them as goals to reach, also lots and lots of training, hope this helps, amd dont forget to have fun :)
@Beggar Mugger, don't forget about us when you make it to the NBA.
@Devious Olive , lol I'm way too old for that. Tipping the age scale at 22
@Beggar Mugger, practice practice practice practice practice, seriously that’s it, also if you aren’t the tallest work on a crossover layup, the layup is THE fundamental and scores more points overall than any other shot
@Not A Wolf, Thanks! I'll definitely do that!
@Beggar Mugger, also work on shooting from very specific parts of the Cory like the exact same place over and over vs shooting from everywhere, if you watch closely the best players in the league generally only have a couple moves they use all the time, because like the old martial arts saying goes “I do not fear the 1000 kicks practiced 1 time but the 1 kick practiced 1000 times”
@Beggar Mugger, you are a disappointment to this family...I mean...you have one or two years to get to an elite level and enter the g-league in hopes of getting attention from a team. Johnathan Simmons made it out of the g-league and onto the spurs roster at 25, Andre Ingram was the oldest rookie ever at 32 years old. don't let your dreams be memes.
@Not A Wolf, for example I'm okay at shooting 3s from like front of the arch but horrible at corner 3s. Should I try to improve my corner 3s or get my front 3s really good and ignore corner 3s?
@Beggar Mugger, if that’s the route you want to take practice your straight threes from a very specific spot up to at least 50% while being covered before moving on. Or up to 80% shooting alone. Absolutely just focus on one thing. I mean obviously practice your handles and other stuff too to break the monotony but hardcore drill what you think you’ll be best at
@Devious Olive , that is a heartening thought but I'm honestly just trying to get good enough to shjt on my friends. I actually want to be a doctor
@Not A Wolf, will do! I wasn't whether to take a super focused approach or a spread out one
@Beggar Mugger, well I tried, but yeah, not a wolf is right, focus on what you're good at, and work on your form, you wanna shoot like klay Thompson/steph curry and not Lonzo ball.. repetion is key, work on that muscle memory.
@Devious Olive , thanks! With you guys advice, I'm gonna be the NGNL of players at my local rec league lol
@Beggar Mugger, I have no idea what your fitness level is, but a little extra running and jumping jacks/ push ups/ other body weight fitness exercises never seem to hurt in general athletic contests.
@Beggar Mugger, THE ONE PUNCH MAN WORKOUT ROUTINE
10KM Running (that’s 6.2 miles)
Repeat 7 days a week. That’s it!

Is that screen shot in the top right from the second Thor movie?
Captain America was always worthy. He just decided no to pick it up.
