I never had most of the problems in college. Maybe because I actually put effort into studying and homework.
@GrumpyKat, in college, I had one professor who would tell us one thing in class, but the book would say the exact opposite. We always had to guess which information the exam would be based on (we even asked him specifically which was correct and would be on the test. He told us what was in the notes, test said differently). Highest test score anyone ever had was a C. (And exams were the sole basis for grades).
Sadly, sometimes effort doesn't mean a thing if the professor is incompetent.
@GrumpyKat, you must be fun at parties
@GrumpyKat, I have had a professor assign is to read the entire WWI for dummies (about 400 pgs) and then asked us fill in the blank questions. No one could learn enough details from a 400 pg book to know what general said a quote in a week.
@TheBookEscape, I had one like that last semester
@TheBookEscape, sure I get that, but those are few and far between
Exams are awful. Name one person in the world that likes exams.
@ThatThingBehindYou, the examaners who enjoy watching the students faces slowly twisting into despair
@ThatThingBehindYou, I do. I love taking exams. If we were playing a game in class and told to settle down or "take a pop quiz", I always thought of sabotaging everyone so I could stop playing and take a quiz 😏 And yes, before you ask, I never study and always ace it anyway. And yes, before you ask, I have no friends 😞.🐫
@ThatThingBehindYou, I'd prefer that than writing a paper
@ThatThingBehindYou, whoever made common core
@ThatThingBehindYou, exam likes, duh
Trying to understand math(s) to me is like trying to understand monkeys speaking Chinese while being partly deaf
I don't find these funny. I just find it sad that these people are that idiotic. No wonder why our schools aren't the best in the world. Because of people like these shown above.
@Im almost Batman, Well? Are they wrong? Is the mitochondria not the powerhouse of the cell?
I dislike this pic for using Justin bieber pictures.
YES! I have a polish math professor and I can't understand with his accent, he rambles, and solves a problem not taught in HE and asks if there's any questions..... so I sit in the back and draw
When i write a paper stoned: Brilliant! The next morning: dafuq?
$5.46, mental math is not that hard
The chinese are good at math because their education system forces them to work hard,It is mostly repeating what the teacher teaches you.Also in china (And other asian countrys) Their is a great about of social pressure from your peers (Teachers,Family and friends) to do well,and because most people have good exam results it means your grades have to very good to get into a university.The university entrance exam (gaokao) oh and this exam is also highly monitored so people don't cheat.
#10 would be more believable if it wasn't an Asian saying that they didn't understand math.
That was long... But not as long as the pre calculus tests where I had no idea what was even happening like cos 2x square root of 97.63 potato tan 😐
Does it annoy anyone else that they skipped a number?
I don't even know what Sohcahtoa is!
@gunitg7007, sine = opposite over hypotenuse cosine = adjacent over hypotenuse tangent = opposite over adjacent
@A Narcissist, Why didn't I learn this Anagram when I had Pre-calc?
@gunitg7007, are you in America? That's generally the only nation that uses it consistently from what I've heard...
@SchroedingerPussPuss, I am, but I don't remember my teacher ever teaching us this.
#8 reminds me of when I used to cry for a few minutes after my mom dropped me off at kindergarten. As punishment, the teacher would make me sit with her on the bench and watch the other kids play. This only happened a few times before my mom put a stop to it.
