@wannabe firefighter, I liked her running back when bill was in office. Sure he made mistakes and stuff but she seemed supportive and like she knew what she was doing. I wanted her to be in charge and bill to be the First Lady. I think he'd really rock the roll. But now that she's had enough time in politics, she's had time to either become corrupt, or have her secrets become discovered. Oh wel

@wannabe firefighter, All you need to know is that she lies and slanders her opponents. For example, while a significant number of crime guns in NY are from out of state, Vermont only provides about 1% of these, yet she makes Vermont out to be the source of the problem and is trying to imply that somehow its Sanders' fault, when in reality he has as much influence on Vermont crime guns in New York as he has on the weather in California.

I don't stand with her at all, but you can't push a uniform minimum wage across the country. Sure California and New York can afford $15/hr, but that's because their standard of living is so high. Where as $15/hr in Alabama or Minnesota wouldn't make sense at all, and would bankrupt companies that operate there.

You're not supposed to make a career out of being a fast food worker. 15/hour for flipping burgers is outrageous. These jobs are supposed to cater to high school students to start working, get experience in the workforce and start developing simple workplace social skills and make a little money, too. These jobs were never meant to support families and make a healthy living from. It'll create more laziness because people will get comfortable with they're easy 15/hour checks for a while. But, it will also quickly destroy the economy. If minimum wage is paying 15/h, what are the more labor intensive jobs that pay 15/h going to do when all they're employees leave to go work at Bojangles? And then we'll have this same debacle all over again because prices will rise on everything, and then the people who were crying for 15/h will be crying for even more money. Yes, if you raise the minimum wage to 15/h, you will surely doom America. I know because trump told me.

@Usmovers, as someone who worked in McDonalds as a manager, I know of the financial state. My McDonald's made a little over 2million a year. Employee wages (excluding the SM position) was around 450k a year, and operating costs and truck shipments were around 750k/year. That's 900k (before taxes) that the one McDonald's I worked at madea year. So yeah, they can afford more, quite easily. But I still think 15/hr is a bit much. Something around 10-12 would have been better.

@Darkblaze, yeah well, my last job was with a medical supplies company, I cleaned and sterilized equipment that was used on people, I got paid 14/h, you want me to believe that just because McDonald's can "afford" it that you employees deserve the same amount of pay that I did? Does that make sense? Just cause the minimum goes up doesn't mean everyone gets a raise.

@mcakes2009, I know, and that's the problem. Stagnation of wages. Employee wages have remained virtually the same over the past two decades, where was inflation for everything else had went up by a vast amount, not to mention CEO salaries have increased well beyond means of inflation. Do I think McDonald's workers should make the same as what you did? Absolutely not. But it is such an absurd idea for them to make 10-12$ (pending on cost of living in states) and you to make somewhere near the 16-18$ range? If our wages increased parallel to cost of living this wouldn't be an issue. It used to, but it never will again. But hey, let's all look past the glutenous corporate greed and shame the smaller people.

@Usmovers, man your on a roll, it's not about poor vs rich this time, by raising the wages that fast that quick you hurt the middle class. If you hurt the middle class they become poor, bringing the usefulness of the dollar down, causing inflation. Then you have to raise the minimum again because people can't live off that amount of money anymore. What you need to do is find a way to lower the cost of living, not throw paper at the fire.
Idk man. I'm not too into politics, but i just dislike her anyway
