Personally, I love Single Player Games/campaignes. To me, Video Games are a Chance to escape the real world for a bit - and I personally prefer to do so by myself.
@Sweet Revenge, plus a nice story is great too. It's like watching a movie but you have total control and you're the star.
@Sweet Revenge, My feelings exactly
@Sweet Revenge, I have a lot of trouble making friends over Xbox live for that very reason. I much prefer a single player experience.
Competitive play gets boring for me, and it's super hard to set up proper cooperative play.
@Sweet Revenge, agreed. Along with MMOs. Plus I feel games that are strictly multiplayer (out if what Ive played at least) feel more...idk lazily made I guess since they dont have to do anything with a story, charactet development, lore, etc etc.
@Sweet Revenge, While I do prefer single player games like Dark souls and different RPGs like final fantasy and dragon quest, I do like multiplayer
@Sweet Revenge, perfectly said my friend
@Sweet Revenge, 'player two has left the game' 😥
@Sweet Revenge, samesies
@Mr Sarcastic, Destiny has a great... gre... decent.... nah a dog turd has more to say
@JakeTheSnake512, I like multiplayer, but the competition on there is WAY too good for me to compete, then I just feel like people get mad I'm on their team.
There are, you're just not looking hard enough.
@manbrodude, not really any good ones recently
@Citizen Nappa, if you have a ps4, try out uncharted 4. It's an excellent single player experience if that's what you're looking for
@Citizen Nappa, dark souls 3, far cry primal; just beat both, and loved both. (DS3 has multiplayer but you can turn it off)
@Citizen Nappa, batman Arkham games
@Citizen Nappa, the problem is just that, you have to go back and look and old games. Old games were actually based around single-player. I don't mean at the birth of gaming but games like The elder scrolls: Oblivion is kinda old and should be played still to this day 👍👌
@manbrodude, rpgs for the win.
@Sithis, I played through Fallout 3 and Farcry 2 this month lol I'm saying there aren't any good new ones
@Sithis, I just read that bethesda is remastering skyrim for current gen consoles. Needless to say I had to change my pants
@Smash Like Gaston, I just want another game in the series that's a single player RPG, I mean graphics are nice and all but new content I'd have to say is more important to me. Besides I'm a PC and console guy so I could just buy the copy for PC and mod it. Not saying either is better but PC has the edge on graphics most of the times. Consoles are better for cost efficiency if you don't want to drop $1000 to play current gen games
@Murderin Mike, yeah I'm still waiting for a new installment. But it will be a decent bridge since eso was a let down. The development of fall out 4 slowed the production of a new es. I've never really been into pc gaming. I don't really know why. So I get stuck either waiting on new content or remasters
@manbrodude, could you make some recommendations? Preferably not a soulsborne game or first person platformer
@Smash Like Gaston, I'm glad that they're talking about remastering it, but that makes it seems like they will put off ES6 longer.. Kinda want a new one, just hope it's better than FO4 was..
@Tyrellious, mass effect will make your thirst for space and alien booty. Play from the first one, its old but gold, and choices from the first two carry weight into the 3rd one. Same with witcher but medieval and mage booties. Star wars the old republic is real old buts its a hell of a classic
@Citizen Nappa, I would also recommend the Witcher 3. It is a fabulous single player game and the most recent dlc for it was amazing. Granted there is a bit of a learning curve but once you get it the game is very fun
@General Taco, Witcher 3 is also good if you like cutscenes....lots and lots of cutscenes. It's practically a movie.
@A Drunken Bear, some of them aren't so bad (if you know what I mean) ;)
@General Taco, I don't know what you mean. I stopped playing after about 2 hours because I couldn't stand the amount of cutscenes. It was more story than game. I just wanted to kill stuff like in skyrim.
@A Drunken Bear, oh lol I beat the game twice (once on the hardest difficulty) because I liked the story and cutscenes so much but I get what you mean. Unless you're really invested in the story it just kinda drones on
@A Drunken Bear, please play the Arkham games. They are coming remastered in July but the first 2 are on PC. Trust me they are the greatest comic book games ever
@Phil Mike Hunt, They're all on PC...
@Tyrellious, The Last of Us.
@Sniper of Puns, I'm a console peasant but they are to me the greatest games of 2009 2011 and 2015
@Phil Mike Hunt, I wouldn't say the greatest, but they are pretty damn good.
@manbrodude, bioshock infinite
*cough* Bethesda Games *cough*
Hope about better local multiplayer games? I actually like inviting people over and playing in the same room with someone. But most things are just side games like zombies in cod. Just want a good full game with local co-op that isn't Lego or Nintendo exclusive
@Mister Riddle, army of two, the whole series is great for local co-op
@ Abnormal Fiber, eh. Is it as military themed as it seems? I'm kind of sick of all the military games. I might still get it. But I wish there were some like that that were adventure or sci-fi or fantasy
@Mister Riddle, sort of, the second and third arent really military but it's still a fps... I'm pretty sure sacred 3 has local co-op which is more of a fantasy adventure
@Mister Riddle, I love couch coop games but there are so few of them, even the newest halo dropped it. One of my favorites is the borderlands series, it is fun playing with someone in the room
@MasterCylinder, sadly I mainly PC game and it is the only platform that doesn't have local co-op. I love borderlands and it's the only game that I actually enjoy getting online to play.
@Mister Riddle, marvel ultimate alliance was the tits. I'd like to see one where you don't have to share a screen and can move around a more open world
@Mister Riddle, I love lan parties.
@Mister Riddle, but I haven't been to or hosted one in a long time. I did it a lot back in the day when that was the only way to do multiplayer.
@Mister Riddle, despite failing to Overwatch, Battleborn has a pretty good local co-op and retains a lot of the humor and script writing that we all came to love in Borderlands. I've been playing through the campaign with my brother.
Then buy an RPG (:
@Bobomojo, That's a good idea. I'll just blow them all up!
@The Hawks Eye, ha
@Space Jesus, a thousand times yes!!
Sounds like you need strategy games then.
*stares at GTA Online*
Lol you need to move away from fps you silly preteen
Are you kidding me?
I play mostly single-player games and that wasn't even on purpose.
I play mostly Fallout 4, Witcher 3, Just Cause 3, and Civilization 5 (which has online modes I never use, that are inherently just the same game) nowadays. Not because they're single player, but because they are phenomenal games.
I'm thinking of breaking out my PS2 and playing through Kingdom Hearts again.
Yeah... Sorry about that...
Maybe online douchebags don't wanna play with you perhaps
Dishonored 2 hype
Just 100% a shin megami tensei game, You'll be fine
I use video games to do stuff with my friends who don't live near me, so I want more online multiplayer games
Elderscrolls 6, where are ya?
Mass Effect: Andromeda comes out this december!
@drawAline2UandMe, nope, delayed to 2017 :/ better late and good than early and bad. E.A learned that lesson hard from rushing bioware with me3 lol
@I Dexios Divine I, no no no no no no... I need my ME fix!
@drawAline2UandMe, most likely coming out in jan-march only a couple more months to wait lol :p
Pikmin Luigis Mansion Any Super Mario/Legend of Zelda/Halo game. Those is just a few. The possibilities are out there
That's why I just stick to Sims 4. I love creating worlds full of different people, designing buildings, and causing drama.
All of my friends only play multiplayer games, while I love single player games. It is so annoying how many times they've told me to get overwatch.
@Hermaeus Mora, i mean overwatch is good, but i prefer to spend more time in single players and rpgs and play multiplayer games for some fresh air so i dont burn out on the games i like
Me: "hey, stuckpixel, I don't find this funny, can you help me out?"
