If we humans were not prone to embellishments or falsehoods online, the internet would have likely become a tool used for the betterment of mankind. Instead of the social travesty it's become with flame wars, trolls, scams, viruses, etc.

While most of these are clickbait, there are a few exceptions. If the video, article, or image contains all the information that was used on the thumbnail or title, it is not clickbait. The pineapple one is a good example of this (assuming they used the gizmo slip video). Yes, the title and thumbnail are obscure but all of it is in the video so the viewer got exactly what they came for. Rant over.
Every Buzzfeed article ever written.
Finally something I can get behind and enjoy. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Isn't the pineapple thing from Gizmo slip?
Will people still click on click bait?
