A nice fair, fvcking 20%. Fvck you U.S. in particular. What?! It's the fifth of july for me now.
@Ser Waffle Knight, Well for me it's still the fourth :( America.
@Charlemagne, only people it's still the fourth for are those "west coasters", and we all know they don't like America. They just like kale and plants that you might call kale if your parents found them under your bed.
@Charlemagne, (I also want to point out that that was satire and I only hold that opinion about a solid 35% of people from the west coast)
@Dr Simon Acula, Ah yes, the inconveniences of a nation that's around a half continent large.
@Dr Simon Acula, haha well as a resident of Washington it is indeed still independence day (woo america!) But don't worry, here in Washington we only like the under the bed kale, not that healthy crap .
@Ser Waffle Knight, dude 20% is nothing some ppl pay close to 40%
@Jeha95, I know. I know.
Let's go dump the beer in the harbor!
And yet people vote for Bernie who gives everything away for free. How do you think all that free stuff gets paid for. Higher taxes. It's simple you decide how you spend you're money you earn or the government decides for you.
@Old Timer, Cut military budget.
@DeadStroke, do you really want to live Ina world where Russia is the #1 military?
@Totrollornottotroll, They already are in terms of equipment
@Totrollornottotroll, To be fair, if we cut our military by 1/3, we'd still have one of the largest militaries in the world, if not the largest.
Try being in top tax bracket. Taxes fvck me like a plunger rapes a toilet.
@RhettandLink, at least the plumber uses the water as a lube
@Taquito Speedo, exactly. Taxes just tell me to bend over, go in dry, slap my face when they're done, and make me order dinner.
@RhettandLink, so is it normal to have a boner but feel bad for you at the same time after reading that?
@Taquito Speedo, I think that's the perfect and only reaction you should have darling 😅
@RhettandLink, mmmm I'll take it then...like I'm taking you
@RhettandLink, what people don't realize is it's not that hard to be near the top tax bracket as well. If you make $90k, you pay 28% which is almost the top bracket. $90k in a city like DC or San Francisco is nothing. You're struggling to afford a 1 BR apt and pay student loans on $90k in those cities.
@relevantusername007, exactly. I paid close to $135, 000 in taxes last year. When I mean they rape me, I mean taxes fvck me like I'm their bitch.
Guys, this community rocks! So maybe, just maybe, a miracle worker in this fandom can explain to me the process of filing taxes, because I'm graduating soon, I really need to know, and I have no fu?&ing clue how
@Dragon Seme, turbotax
@Dragon Seme, dapper is right, as a recent graduate you will likely have a job and not much else. The online systems are really user friendly and helpful
@Dragon Seme, yeah pretty much cosigning what everyone else is saying. You get your w2's in the mail in January-ish you can do them online or go to one of the many tax prep companies.
This is from the show party down, watch it it's amazing there's so many great actors
You're paying for your roads some health care defense (granted you probably over pay that) some education. Taxes are bad. Americans just look at them incorrectly
Ask your local senator or house rep if estate(aka death) tax is right for you!
Seriously it would be amazing if we had estate tax
*CRAZY OPINION ALERT* Honestly, I'm totally fine with the amount I pay in taxes. What I'm less fine with is what those taxes are spent on.
Oh but you want to support Bernie.
Who the fvck is FICO and why is he taking all of my money? !
