@Gollum Fetish, no. They are people looking for an excuse to be offended because they enjoy the feeling of moral superiority. Because there are few genuine opportunities to feel that way, they are compelled to create false opportunities. Being transgender is real, but it is not its own gender. A trans woman would rather just be a woman, if given the choice. Most importantly, as with all discrimination, the people being whiny, annoying complainers are always third parties being offended 'on behalf' of the group in question. Because let's be honest, nobody would be pleased by having someone walk up to them and ask "what gender are you?"

@Gollum Fetish, actually that's a separate issue in my opinion. As far as I'm concerned, the Washington Redskins mascot/logo is not offensive. The purpose is not to belittle Native Americans, nor is it to make any sort of a statement regarding ethnicity. But it IS racist, because 'Redskin' is a pejorative word for Native Americans, as well as the fact that using an ethnicity as a mascot is inherently racist. Something that is offensive is not necessarily racist and something that is racist is not inherently offensive.
I just lost a cat today, she had fatty liver disease and they couldn't help her so we had to have her put down. RIP Halo.
