After waiting 3 years.
@SparkySparky BoomMan, there's the awkward and ugly truth.
@SparkySparky BoomMan, I hate to be that one guy but because of the way they tax their country vs how America taxes our country, we become the ones who are being over taxes in small doses under different names. And then on top of that, being American means you have to use whatever is left after those taxes to insure your self and whatever vehicles you have. In reality, if things that where required where taxed then the likelihood of us Americans putting whatever is left after taxes back into our communities is much much greater. And could you image how un stressful your paycheck would be. But then again I'm just an opinion, with supportive facts and if you don't like it suck it!
@SparkySparky BoomMan, You have access to healthcare in Canada after living there 3 months.. Not years.
@pokerus, He was referring to the waiting period that most Canadians have to go through to see a doctor.
@CriTiKa1, the longest I've had to wait for a walk in was about 2 hours. For an appointment, about two weeks.
@Todamnfunny, as usual, the quickest way to get down voted is to say negative things about America. I cannot confirm or deny your facts on American taxes, nor can I offer anything that hasn't already been said, so here's an upvote. It's a Canadian upvote though so its value is not quite as high. You now have 76% of an upvote. Sorry.
@The Most Canadian, hahaha thank you for your support, even if I got a thousand down votes it'd be by bias Individuals who don't just see through the lenses of others. All I know is that America literally broke off from different political views all across our western and some eastern world. And if we can't see that other countries are thriving in ways that would benefit us, then that's the ignorance. And I see your upvote as a double dip! More then 100% a vote 200% lol!
You probably have to do that after each paycheck too when you see how much they take out in taxes
@The nOly One, it isn't a surprise or shock at all how much taxes they take out. Having access to free care at any time is well worth it. Don't hear many complaining about it
@The nOly One, which we get back every year
@The nOly One, they're taxes are nothing compared yo ours..
@The nOly One, Since we don't pay so much for the military it isn't that high. Our higher brackets are actually nearly identical to yours.
@The nOly One, pay less than we do for no universal healthcare.
@pokerus, sounds more like capitalism to me. Making people pay for other people's shìt.
That's where he can get his pussy checked too for being a little bitch
They give us a bottle of maple syrup while getting checked and the doctor is a beaver as well. I love my country.
I'm so sorry aboot your feelings
It's funny how people look down on universal healthcare because of taxes when in America we don't have it but many other countries do and they pay less than we do while we pay more the healthcare we have. Should've voted for Bernie.
Fvcking weeb trash.
And wait for 16 years
And wait for 5 hours if you don't have a family doctor then just to find out that they don't have the stuff to treat you and you die of a broken arm
I live in Canada and in most provinces like mine you have to pay a mandatory monthly fee for our Healthcare. I pay $150 (family rate). It's not that much but it ain't free.
And the person behind you suffering from a brain hemorrhage will have to wait another two hours before a doctor can see them.
Only after waiting three to five hours.
...Seriously though the wait times at hospitals in Canada are so ridiculous because of idiots doing sh*t like this - going to the hospital for their head-colds or a mild fever.
As a Canadian, I've never met someone in person that is anywhere near that sensitive. Then again, i rarely ever meet people *sobs uncontrollably*
Can't wait to see all the passive aggressive, politically "savvy" comments we're about to get.
Next video game trivia question.
What is the name of the final boss in Halo 2?
@The Puppet Man, the cliffhanger
@Smart Deathclaw, no?
@The Puppet Man, making a joke about the game's cliffhanger at the end
@Smart Deathclaw, ah I was confused lol
@The Puppet Man, I never knew his name so I just called him mohawk
@Nicer Canadian, believe it or not he does have a name
@The Puppet Man, yeah I know that I just had/have no clue what it is
@Nicer Canadian, fair enough
