Oh would you look at these taxes...
This is honestly why the second amendment exists. When people say you don't need an "assault rifle" to hunt it's true, we need them to defend
@Michael Fassbender, this makes no sense. This is about the internet. You cant shoot bullets via email
@Michael Fassbender, Jim Jefferies, "you're bringing guns to a drone fight" sorry no you don't just say I like guns and leave it at that don't give reasons like that also the second amendment doesn't mean anything prohibition used to be a thing it can happen just as easily to the second amendment
@JaredLamb, you can via revolution against an oppressive government, or something like red dawn happens
@Knight SoIaire, revolutioning against the government isnt defence
@JaredLamb, against an unjust government it is, literally the reason for the amendment
@smii7y, at the end of the day its not my country but thats a quick way to get alot of people killed. Good luck
@JaredLamb, well when the revolution was fresh in mind, everyone was a little afraid of dictatorship and authoritarianism so we wanted a way to have at least justification to protect ourselves. Nowadays we'd get fvcked but if it comes to that, symbolic martyr might be what we need
@JaredLamb, And you wouldn't download a car.
@JaredLamb, I beg to differ! *sends bulleted list*
@smii7y, *eats popcorn in Canadian*
@Michael Fassbender, But consider this...the amendment hasn't changed since Alexander Hamilton wrote it up, and he couldn't imagine weaponry advancing beyond the musket. And since the right is supposed to be that citizens are as well armed as a possible tyrannical government which means we'd have a right to buy predator drones. So yea..there are a lot of problems with the amendment that need to be altered.
@eleven, except prohibition, ergo banning alcohol, made alcohol more popular than ever before, brought in cheap, potentially dangerous alcohol, and saw criminal profits rise through the roof.
Now imagine that with guns, which, might I remind you, criminals will still have if they want them.
@Not Actually a Corgi, watch Jim Jefferies on gun control both parts then come back and tell me he doesn't have a damn good point
@eleven, I think we're done here.
@Not Actually a Corgi, oh, and as a side note, the War of Drugs and War on Terror have both done nothing but proliferate drugs and terrorism, especially in the U.S.
@Not Actually a Corgi, have a nice day
@TheRatMan, why do people not realize if the government was using missiles on civilian populations there'd be all out war against the government. Most soldiers wouldn't kill US citizens and the government wouldn't stand much of a chance against what if predict to be around 30,000,000 people fighting for their land and freedom
@Not Actually a Corgi, If I have time, I'll watch that's guys videos. I'm sure he has some good points, but saying something works on paper and actually doing it are two completely different things. If you truly want to know how gun control works in the USA, look at the gun crime in Chicago and compare it to Oregon or Texas.
@Michael Fassbender, look at how quickly protests can get out of control and become riots, especially when the reason for said riots are politically correct (although, if gun violence becomes more and more demonized, it might become politically correct to condemn them outside of sports and war, but fvck PC anyways). People revolting against a corrupt government in the U.S. would probably be bad for the government, but if it lead to cessation of the offending government programs or a coup, the revolt would be successful.
@Not Actually a Corgi, not that this is a desirable situation; the government should never let itself get so bad that it has to come to this.
@TheRatMan, yeah, by allowing us to buy predators -]
Now that would be scary
@TheRatMan, There are many Americans who could finance private armies of they wanted to
@TheRatMan, in my opinion, a state militia is the answer to this. They do get to buy whatever weapons they might need to defend against intense weaponry, but that power isn't in the hands of individuals.
@JaredLamb, lol thanks, we didn't realize that during our revolution or anything.
Welcome to the bottom! If you scolled past the shjt show, I salute you!
Pretty much how the government works
Please love me
@We Are Groot, hey
I love you.
