The movies were made by America... Warner Brothers. The books were indeed British made by J.K. Rowling, but this seems to be talking about the films. We invented and basically have a monopoly on the movie industry... yay America.
@KiritoSAOHero, we'll I for one enjoy British comedy more than that of the US. And Australia produces a good movie every once in a while
@BulbousBiscuit, Don't get me wrong I enjoy foreign films, specifically Japanese. Many directors have been influenced by Kurosawa alone, including George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and Martin Scorsese. I'm just saying that we dominate the movie market worldwide.
@KiritoSAOHero, are you sure you enjoy Japanese films, kiritosaohero? I don't think any of us would have guessed that
@KiritoSAOHero, Harry Potter was very much a British and American film, the studios were all in Britain with British actors and many British directors, however it was paid for with American money and of course some of the producers and directors are American too
@KiritoSAOHero, Just general fun fact that I learned in class, the US is third world wide in terms of production. Bollywood (India), Nollywood (Nigeria) then Hollywood (USA).
I think the US is high in profits from films too, but I forget.
Director is British tho.
@KiritoSAOHero, *coughs* Bollywood *coughs*
@KiritoSAOHero, but, boobs.
This SNL skit is hilarious
It's been a few years time for a remake . Starts running.........fast
@cobalt balls, We'll just get JJ Abrams and his member berries to do a reboot.
If it were a French film Hermione Harry and Ron would have had a threesome and smoked a lot of cigarettes.
Emma Watson is still way hotter! It would be nice if she had big boobs too though!
Why Harry Potter Isn't* made by Americans**
I remember this! I actually have it save in my computer.
Uhm.... where's the problem exactly?
@Dephenistrator, its Lindsay Lohan thats the problem.
