So if I'm understanding this correctly, he makes 0.45 for every dollar a non ginger makes. If we extrapolate this to only non gingers in America, and assume that, for the sake of this wildly liberal equation, every non ginger American over the age of 15 is employed and making minimum wage, that would put the average ginger's income at...
...hang on, calculating...
...$2,000,000,000. This is also based on the American population as of July 2016, and rounded down to accommodate a ratio of gingers to non gingers that I made up in my own head.
If this guy is seriously bitching about making 45 cents per dollar, then I'll gladly sell my soul (lol) for his position.
@Grybo101, is this the new common core math they are always talking about? Cause the way I learned math if he makes .45 for every dollar a non ginger makes and a non ginger makes $15 then he makes $6.75. It does now say he makes .45 for every non ginger in America
@Mkb617, he he's getting .45 cents for every dollar I make, sounds to me like I'm the one getting screwed.
(Ttf he joke is that I implied he was getting money for free because of me working)
@Caine, i get your joke... but what I said is still right..if you got $15 an hour for work And he got .45 for every dollar you made it would still be $6.75 and still unfair but not the number the other guy said
Actually if he makes .45 "for every dollar a non ginger makes" then the guy up top is correct. Sort of. The number would be much higher because of under the table and different wages.
@Mkb617, but honestly these wage things are not real. Pay is equal for equal work. And for non equal work in most cases. The only exception being commission usually.
@Caine, I know it was obviously meant as a joke in the meme
@Caine, but there really are wage gaps. Even in something like running a fast food restaurant. Not all managers get the same and it is not just because of experience... it can be something as simple as one asked for more when getting hired and was given it. It can also be unconscious prejudice at the perceived ability of a woman, black, white, Mexican, or even a ginger. To think that everyone always gets paid the same for the same work is naive
@Mkb617, lol. That's actually not true. As far as getting paid more because you asked for your review and got a raise and the others didn't, that's not the same. If you don't make sure you're getting them that's on you. Or even asking for more at hire. If you were given it because you asked and they gave it, it's probably because they wanted you specifically. Some people fall through the cracks and get forgotten. I've been there but I never blamed the boss. If I fall through the cracks it's my job to say something. That's just life. Look out for number 1.
@Caine, still the same thing... a gap means there is a difference. Whatever causes that difference is irrelevant. I'm it going to keep arguing the point but it isn't a guessing thing or an opinion. If you look at the salaries of different groups doing the same jobs. I don't mean jobs like a cashier or bus driver because those are pretty set. If you look at the statistics it is there. No one really argues it because it is in black and white. They might argue why it exists but the simple fact is it does exist
@Mkb617, we'll that's fine but same pay in that case wouldn't equal same effort and it shouldnt.
@Caine, no one said anything about effort... and you can't look at the stats involving millions of people and see that for example women who make 85% ( i don't know the exact number just using that for arguments sake) and say it is because women don't work as hard as men or that only 85% of women work as hard as men. Ok now I am really done. Have a good night
@Mkb617, what I know is that people will always play the victim if they can. I also know everyone thinks they work the hardest when they dont. I'm not saying racism doesn't exist nor sexism. However, I'd wager that I'd you looked into it, it'd be unlikely that two people with the exact experience, degrees, and work ethics make different wages unless one asked for a raise when the other didn't. Raises are often given out when someone thinks of leaving as incentive to stay, that's what competitive pay is which I doubt is taken into consideration. If everyone was garunteed the same pay this country would be more screwed than it all ready is. Pay wouldn't go up for the one making less it would go down for the one making more. That eliminates incentive. BTW I never said women don't work as hard as men. I did however state that if you don't ask for a raise when someone else does, then why do you deserve one too? Them asking is effort, effort to gain better wages.
And before I'm crapped on I'll add that at my first job I worked 3 years and never got a raise. Then at my second I made the most out of everyone because I made sire I got all my reviews. I also got a raise as incentive to stay with the company.
@Grybo101, it's a parody of feminism and the wage gap. His name is Dave cullen and he's an anti feminist/anti SJW
@Grybo101, I'm pretty sure it's satire.
@Grybo101, so hey buddy, you blowing from stupid town?
@Grybo101, mmm I'm pretty sure it's an average ratio, otherwise it's a useless stat, as you just calculated. Meaning that gingers on average earn less than the average American by about half. Which I find extremely hard to believe.
New study finds I get paid less than I want to be
Is no one seeing it says .45 cents for dollar instead of per dollar.
@iKnowWhatImDoing , clearly you dont
@iKnowWhatImDoing , WHY DO YOU KEEP DOING THIS? THIS IS MADNESS!
And people wonder why I steal souls...
You can't be f*clong serious... I hope this is a joke
@King Millner, obviously a joke. If it was serious do you think they would claim "soul privilege" as a reason?
