Foreign leaders probably just meant his weekly coffee with Putin
@Skwatchmo, isn't it a good thing that russia wants peace with the u.s?
@Foyboy64, right? Everytime people get all sassy about people talking to Putin I think "why would you not want that?" Oh no! Not diplomacy!! Ahhhhhh!
@WelI Obviously, I don't care if trump was golf buddies with hitler. I was just trying to make a joke
@Skwatchmo, call me crazy but I'd prefer Russia as a friend over Saudi Arabia. At least when Russia does human rights violation they do it like us and brush it under the rug and pretend nothing is happening. Saudis are just crazy, they'll abuse you in broad daylight and they won't care.
@FreePalestine, just curious, what human right violations do you think we do?
@Oujosh29, is that a joke? How bout the 7-8 different countries being bombed for oil? Or that time drone strikes were committed on a wedding. Or how about Guantanamo? What about Manning? Still being tortured to this day.
@FreePalestine, no its not a joke. Manning is in jail, not being tortured. Guantanimo is a prison for terrorists, and we aren't bombing people for oil. That has always been such a stupid narrative, know how much oil the US has, and how cheap it is? Going to war for oil would be stupid as hell. We are bombing 8-9 countries because we're the worlds policeman. I would like that to change, but its not a human rights violation.
@Oujosh29, that's a whole lot denial. I'd love for the government narrative to be true but what you said is just plain false. Manning is being tortured, solitary confinement is torture. The wars ARE for oil. Maybe not necessarily oil barrels but oil money. Iraq was invaded because they switched from US dollars to EU for selling oil. Immediately after the invasion they switched back to US $. Not hard to understand the bottom line. USA is bombing Yemen because of Saudis interest which is an oil pipeline. The same story for Syria. They need Saudi pipeline to Israel but Syria won't allow it. That means bombs. War crimes, human rights violation. Easy to see. Guantanamo houses prisoners who sometimes have no connection to terrorism whatsoever. Guantanamo is a human right violation center because one it goes against the constitution of every person deserving a trial and two a lot of those people have not been proven guilty of anything yet they are being tortured. Human rights violations.
@FreePalestine, you say denial, I say not bs. Solitary confinement is not torture, and he's lucky its not the old days. The global market is traded in dollars, you think we would care Iraq, a poor country in the middle east tries to use a different currency? No. We are bombing in Yemen because its a terrorist stronghold, and saudi is doing it because they don't want a shiite threat on their borders. The prisoners in Guantanimo are the worse of the worse, they don't just throw anyone in there, and those that have been released have gone back to the battlefield. Stuff you disagree with, thats fine, not human right violations.
@Oujosh29, Iraq, a "poor country in the middle east" was one of the largest oil exporter. So yeah it definitely matters whether or not they use USA or Euro $. I suggest reading more than the government narrative.
Conan is my shining red light in talk show comedy. I love this man.
@Rodzilla, even his skit where he joked about gassing trump supporters?
@ThatGuyx79, Even so. Keyword being "joke."
