When I was stationed in Fort Wainwright, AK, I lived in the neighboring town of North Pole. I found out six months later that I lived five house down from THE Santa Claus. He truly is an amazing guy and we used to ride snowmobiles all over the state in the winter and quads in the summer. I went on my fifth deployment back in 2009-2010 to Ramadi, Iraq and when I came back, I found out Mrs Claus had passed away and I felt so sad for not being there for him when it happened. If I ever make it back to Alaska, I am going to buy and move back into that same house and drink Maker's Mark with him every chance we get.
@City87, I thought AK was Arkansas for a little and was like WTF is the North Pole doing in the Midwest?
@Michael Fassbender, with as much as Santa used to get me fvcked up on that Maker's Mark, I probably would have believed that it was in Arkansas.
@City87, thank-you for your service 🙏
@DrawinAblank, thank you for allowing me to serve.
@City87, well being stationed at Little Rock AFB Arkansas I can honestly tell that for as drunk as I always was I'm sure I woke up some days thinking I had wished I got stationed in AK and remembering crap! I'm still in AR lol
@Avega88, damn. I am a Texan but after the life I had lived up in Fairbanks and North Pole, I love Alaska more than I do being back down here. Mainly because of rude, ignorant, and inconsiderate people on the thousands of highways that still have construction on them since 'Nam, when the ice on the only three highways in Alaska would help weed out those people through Darwinism. I also love being able to drive my Raptor 700 quad or Polaris XLT 650 snowmobile to work on the roads or just being able to go home and not have to be surrounded and suffocated with so many people
@City87, I feel you on that one I myself am back in the big hustle and bustle of city life in California where like Texas is always under construction and gas is 70 cents more per gallon thanks to Arnold Schwarzenegger, there wasn't traffic unless it was snowing I'll miss it kinda but only the quiet not Arkansas itself lol
@Avega88, last time it snowed in Texas, I had a cop yell at me from his window because I was going too fast (35 mph). I told him bought my current truck and spent the last six years up in AK and he screamed "I don't care! We can't drive on this (1/16") ice!" I said good! Transferred into 4x4 high and said "come and get me, if you can." Never got that ticket and he couldn't run my plates while driving on the ice from being too scared, so never got one in the mail either. Good thing I still keep my last set of Blizzaks tires and the winterization kit I installed on my truck. Clearly, I am not meant to be down here in Conus (lower 48 states) after Alaska.
@Michael Fassbender, there is a north pole in Colorado. If you don't believe me look it up.
@City87, It's good to hear another soldier enjoying their time in Alaska, not all do, but just one correction Texas... It's a snow "machine," a snowmobile is something you put over a baby's crib. A snowmachine is something you ride! Sled is also acceptable. I'll be happy to toss a few back with you anytime you are back up👍🏻
@DFYANT, I was waiting for that one person to make it the Alaskan classification. To me, a snowmachine is something you put a block of ice in and it makes snow, but we don't call a four-wheeler or a jet ski a land or water machine.
@DFYANT, I do call it a sled, though.
@City87, lol that's the best story, up in Arkansas I got pulled over doing 95 in a 70 on my way to Shreveport Louisiana the cop looked at my California ID and California license plates asked me if I was in a hurry to get back to California told him nope going to Louisiana and he let me go, lots of stuff about Arkansas I'll miss and won't miss lol easy to get chicks easy to have fun but I won't miss the reticule I got for being from California or that I'm Mexican lol
@Avega88, oh, my shenanigans in Alaska are much worse than this. Which is why I will be forever known as green lantern.
@City87, there's a vice documentary where 2 guys hitchhike from Tijuana all the way to North Pole. They gave Santa a 24 pack (this was before mrs Claus died)
I came to deliver presents and kick Charlie ass, and I'm all out of presents
I didn't know they stacked candy canes that tall Private Claus!
@Soser5, North Pole? Only elves and reindeer come from North Pole!
Showed this to my dad (a marine corps vet) a few minutes ago and he still hadn't stopped laughing.
I just want to say thank you to all the veterans on the app and around the world thank you so much for your service and thank you to all who have made the ultimate sacrifice you may be gone but never forgotten
Someone should tell him he's not deployed anymore.
@x2 6x 9 lol, thank you I was wondering why no one said anything about that. Prolly ain't so sh1t in the army talking about your welcome for my service. Hate people that dress like that in civilian settings.
@Delta38 , same here. It's usually non operators that want attention and lie about their job.
@x2 6x 9 lol, exactly, IF they were even in. I'd rather them not be just because lying about your job is even more embarrassing.
The joke ✈
My Head ☺
@FyroFox, u stoopid
@Michael Fassbender, Stop following me!
@FyroFox, The guy is in the military and didn't expect Santa to also be in the military
@FyroFox, what are you gonna do, shoot me?
Rudolph dropped so much nape, that it made his nose glow
