Whether you say the pledge or not, I don't really care. All I care about is that you made the decision whether or not to say the pledge on your own, and that you informed yourself before making that decision
@Captain Anderson, you...I like you.
@Captain Anderson, Also! If you're an American teenager on this app and you go to public school, NO ONE can make you say the Pledge. You have legal standing if you are told otherwise.
I know this is underrated but I actually promote saying the pledge of allegiance, it promotes patriotism and honor for our great nation
@Morty S, only communists would oppose such a simple act
@Morty S, but why should someone pledge allegiance to a nation? To pledge allegiance to a country no matter what it does
@Vesrox, I kind of agree. Patriotism is one thing, but that doesn't mean to blindly follow.
@Vesrox, this country is our home. Being born here is the greatest privilege that one could ask for. Taking a little time out to reflect on how much blood and sweat have gone into making this country what it is today is the least we can do.
@Michael Fassbender, I like living in America, I personally think it's the best country in the world, but pledging to blindly follow doesn't seem like the best idea.
@MrPuffNStuff, patriotism means to always support your country, and supporting your government when it deserves it.
@Vesrox, ^ stand by your country not its government.
@Morty S, i proudly remove my hat and pledge to my flag of the best God damb country on earth!
@Michael Fassbender, I suppose, but to some extent at least, a country is it's government.
@Vesrox, a government derives it power from the consent of the governed. A country with no government could exist, but a government can't exist without a country.
@Morty S, I'm just too lazy to care about this country. Or about anything.
@Vesrox, who says we are following our nation blindly? Because I don't, I've seen other countries and lemme tell you USA is definitely a place I like to call home
@Michael Fassbender, why pledge allegiance to the flag though? Why not the troops that are fighting and dying for our freedom? Why not the actual country, instead of the piece of cloth that is supposed to represent it? I'm just playing the Devils advocate here.
@Morty S, Ok but why the fvck do they make us pledge allegiance without telling us what "pledge" or "allegiance" even means?
@Morty S, Also how is this country in any way honorable when we spend billions of dollars killing little brown children for oil?
@BIessthefaII, the flag represents everything that's ever happened under it. Listen to Johnny cash's ragged old flag. That flag has flown over this country when a handful of common folk decided to take up arms against the greatest empire in history. The flag flew over our states when our nation was most divide in the civil war and now proudly flies over the states that once sought to destroy what our flag stood for. That flag flew when the United States had an industrial revolution and rose from being an experiment destined to fail to the greatest economy on the planet. The flag flew in Europe where a majority of our population comes from when they went back to fight against a great evil to secure the freedoms conceptualized in America and adopted by Europe. The flag was raised by 6 boys from all around this great nation on Iwo Jima and inspired hope to the troops on that rock and to the American people. Doctor Martin Luther King marched while that flag flew to support the claim
@Michael Fassbender, that in fact "all men are created equal". Our flag flew when our world was at times seconds away from nuclear destruction and saw a peaceful end to an almost certain tragedy. That flag represents our greatest accomplishment. Everyone who has ever looked up to it and believed in the America that the founding fathers believed in and worked to make this country what it is today. That's why we pledge allegiance to the flag, so much history has taken place under it and it's one of the most beautiful symbols on this earth for that very reason. GOD BLESS THE 🇺🇸U🇺🇸S🇺🇸A🇺🇸
@Michael Fassbender, better dead then red
@Michael Fassbender, it's a flag for crying out loud! And the amazing thing about this country is that we have a freedom of speech, including the right to lack speech. I personally don't say the pledge of allegiance because of its religious affiliation. The brave soldiers who fight for this country don't give two shìts if I say the pledge of allegiance. I'm sure they're more appreciative of the donation I make, and the hours I volunteer. And honestly if all of my good efforts are wiped away and mean nothing because I won't robotically recite a chant that I was never given the meaning of, then quite frankly, I don't care to support anything the flag stands for.
@notMrWonka, you say we have freedom of speech but also seem like a person that would complain about "hate speech" and "microaggressions". What do you think about that you dumbass
@notMrWonka, I get a little upset when I see liberal pussy fucκs like you say the shiτ you say. Then I remember republicans are in charge and I smile... A lot.
@MrPuffNStuff, yet people do it all time with a little thing called religion
@Michael Fassbender, hot damn man, that was absolutely beautiful.
@Michael Fassbender, right. So by your logic sing a little chant, and call people names because they have a different opinion than you, and everything is all good. I love that singing a song makes you think that you're a better American citizen, when you proverbially spit on someone because they don't share your same views regarding a piece of cloth. I'll be dumbașs, and a liberal půssy fùck any day over being someone who thinks that name calling makes them right.
@Morty S, this country is beautiful. I can only hope to do it justice by expressing my love for it.
@Michael Fassbender, a government of its people
@Michael Fassbender, as a Constitutionalist I'll drink to that
@Captain Anderson, for its people
@notMrWonka, freedom of speech cuntwad you said so yourself
@notMrWonka, it's not because your opinion is different. It's because your opinion is unamerican.
@notMrWonka, and if name calling really hurts you that much then you're going to have a tough life sister.
@Michael Fassbender, hopefully
@Michael Fassbender, that's a fun word, un-American. It's been a lot of different things to a lot of different people
@Morty S, i refused to say the pledge of allegiance starting in about fourth grade through the rest of my schooling because i don't believe that the phrase "under god" should be in the pledge, it was added in the 1950s to make the pledge "less communist" and i feel that it doesn't mesh with separation of church and state and isn't fair to citizens who don't believe in one (or any) god. Now I don't like saying the pledge because I don't consider myself a patriot but I have to because I'm a teacher.
@notMrWonka, i just want to let you know that i agree with you and Mikey here is being a douche.
@Michael Fassbender, I'm not hurt by your name calling. Its just a shame that it's what you resort to. I could give two shìts whether I'm unAmerican or not, especially if it's based on any scale that you use. My goals in life are to be a kind, generous, loving person, and I can do that without singing a song or insulting others. Actions speak louder than words my friend.
@Ruupasya, I'm a teacher and I don't say it. I stand quietly off to the side and don't shove my beliefs down my students throats. I just think it's a shame that kindergarteners are forced to say the pledge when they don't understand what half the words mean. But that's a decision they have to make for themselves later in life, like I did.
@notMrWonka, your actions? What actions have you done, ever, for the good of society. Seriously have you ever done anything significant to help others or do you just claim you do?
@Michael Fassbender, oh no I do, but you see, I only volunteer at the food bank, the salvation army, and local boys and girls club, so I can say I do those things and prove that I'm a better person than you. I'm just glad we finally got to have this pleasant argument, I almost thought that all the volunteering was for nothing.
@notMrWonka, well I mean in November I helped raise $4,000 for testicular cancer and earlier in the year went to help gut houses in Louisiana after these people were ravaged by flooding. By all means though giving food to the undeserving poor is a really noble cause. Those people could you know actually work for what they eat but giving them handouts will really help their work ethic.
@Michael Fassbender, I love that you believe you are the judge of who deserves and whose unamerican. I'm glad that you helped raise that money and gut houses (and I promise that's not sarcasm). And if I didn't have a family to take care of and bills to pay, I'd leave my job behind and be in Louisiana right beside you helping. I do what I can to help out anyway that I can, the best way that I can. I'm just really sorry that you think that one form of community service is better than another. But I'd love to compete with you, and see who can help the most people in society. A lot of people will benefit from that.
@notMrWonka, I don't believe the poor are deserving of food. That is a socialist ideology and socialism has failed every time it has been implemented. This is America, you work, you eat.
@notMrWonka, every animal on the planet works under this law. It is only mentally deficient humans that do not understand.
@Michael Fassbender, well I, and an entire establishment disagree with you. I'm just glad that you don't get the final say in who gets help. Again, I do what I can to help out in my community, and you do what you can to help out in yours. And we'll just have to leave it at that. Good night, rest up my friend.
@notMrWonka, why do the poors deserve food?
@Michael Fassbender, I said good day sir.
@notMrWonka, because you can't explain why failures deserve food
@Michael Fassbender, you're verging on objectivism
@Captain Anderson, like I give a damn what you call it
@Vesrox, Because the flag would vaporize you. Doy. Says right there in the comic.
@Morty S, so basically rely on nationalism instead of education.
@Michael Fassbender, patriotism or nationalism worked so well in Germany in the 40s in fact it's worked in almost all countries that are willing to blindly cheer while not addressing real issues.
@Michael Fassbender, no it's because this conversation is pointless, and I know that you're never going to change my mind, and I'm sure the same can be said of you, but if you'd like me to humour you some more then sure I will. I believe that people come from all walks of life and many have been through things that I cannot even imagine. I believe that many people do the best they can with what they got, and I know that it's damn hard to pay bills, student loans, and buy groceries all while making minimum wage. Also, some of the people who benefit from the food bank are veterans, you know, the people who literally sacrificed life and limb to protect this country and are unable to work, but you wanna sing a song for them. Also I volunteer at the food bank, which processes and sorts the food that has been donated. I have nothing to do directly with it's distribution. But yes I believe a student who is working their asș off to make ends meet deserves a little help. I'd much rather them
@Runnin with scissors, also worked in the American Revolution. It's about the government leading the nationalists. The thing is, here in America, we made the government.
@Runnin with scissors, it was also nationalism that defeated Germany and Japan. Lots of people were ok with internment for the security of the nation. If nationalism really scares you because of history you're an idiot. You know what else Germany didn't have, more guns than people. Stupid fυck.
@Michael Fassbender, pay for their student loans and get a good job after they graduate than pay for groceries and spend the rest of their days working a minimum wage job stuck in a never ending cycle. Some of the biggest contracts the food bank has is with the local colleges and VA hospitals and supports.
@notMrWonka, sorry but your ideology simply has never worked before and it's been implemented so many times
@Michael Fassbender, i'm not sure you're understanding what I'm saying.
no I may be remembering it incorrectly, but I deal objectivism would basically follow the format that the only purpose of an individual is to promote their own happiness by themselves. It also says that acts like charity are destructive towards this end.
Now I'm going to give you a little history lesson.
in the waning glory days of the Roman Republic Roman citizens who had spent much of their lives on campaign trails outside Rome returned to find much of Italy's land had been coalesced under a few powerful families names. Their livelihood have been bought out from underneath them, And so many of them moved to room to try to find work. This massive influx of the poor who could not find work then spent much of their time angry, thinking that they had been cheated because of their service to their state.
now I'm going to play a cynist.
@Captain Anderson, *rome, not room
@Michael Fassbender, you're a moron. It wasn't nationalism that got America involved in the war nor was it what won the war. You're saying we believed we were the best so we got involved. We got involved from constant pleas from our allies that we were already selling arms to to support which the Japanese didn't like so they bombed the shot out of us to try to keep the US out we responded by getting more involved. It was a response listen to the speeches by our leaders then.
@Runnin with scissors, that's uh... not what he said.
@Captain Anderson, how is that relevant today?
@Simetricwl , every country 1st world country I know of has made their own government and not to twist your words back on you but currently the individual in our political system has less value than ever. Trump (and I'm not saying Hilary should've won) lost the popular vote meaning less people had a say in our current government than those that did.
@Michael Fassbender, and yet the food bank is still running strong on the donations of local citizens. And I love that of all the community service I mentioned, it's only the food bank that want to knock at. It's all good, you're entitled to live your life the way you like and believe what you will, as am I, and that's what makes this country so great.
@Runnin with scissors, the individual? So it's one person? A single person is the only one in our political system?
@Runnin with scissors, so you mean to tell me that the millions of men who volunteered to fight weren't doing it because of nationalism, or the $23.6 billion raised in war bonds because of the flag raising on Iwo Jima wasn't at all because of nationalism either. Explain to me what prompted these people to take these actions if not nationalism
@Runnin with scissors, plus, I didn't say others didn't. I said we did.
@Michael Fassbender, also socialism seems to be working well in Europe especially: Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, and sweden. All of which have a more free economy than ours and are in general stronger than us per capita seeing as how most of their unemployment is around 5%. Also individually they may be smaller but the Germanic union and open trade/immigration for those 4 or 5 countries allows a population almost rivaling ours that are all governed by the same laws.
@notMrWonka, you're not even entitled to live life. You gotta work if you want to stay alive. It's people like you that support the failures in our society that don't work. If people like you didn't exist we would have a much more superior society.
@Simetricwl , he said it was nationalism
@Captain Anderson, some people tried to help the influx of the poor, but they were ultimately left by the wayside. Eventually, tensions burst amongst the lower class and they went on several riots, killing several politicians. A series of unfortunate events later, politicians were preaching violence, passing laws that promoted expediency, and laws that undermined the ideals of the republic. All of this stemmed from ignoring the poor.
That is how I play the cynist. By ignoring the poor, and refusing them charity, you might be creating your own downfall. That is why I do not agree with objectivism.
@Runnin with scissors, but not that got us involved in the war.
@Michael Fassbender, oh of course once we were involved nationalism kept us in the war but we never were even going to be involved. The nationalism you're talking about was a targeted campaign done by our government to lead soldiers to go to war. So our government lead us great. That's all it was it was a ploy from our government to entice the people to enter a war that they were profiting hugely from. Explain how it wasn't because multiple documentaries and history books disagree with you on where our motivation came from.
@notMrWonka, hats of to you. Way to keep a cool head when an individual argues with no facts just ignorant passion. I'm glad to hear we have people like you shaping our youth, keep promoting critical thinking and passion🤘
@Michael Fassbender, if you want a more topical example, the plot to the first BioShock game is close to what I'm saying- though it focuses more on free will.
@Simetricwl , so what if we did? You want to hang our hat on that? Plenty of countries suck that have founded their own government. Creating the government from the people is nothing special.
@Runnin with scissors, their economies are actually failing because they're running out of money because they are spending more than they are taking in. They taking in too many worthless Muslims from the Middle East, Europe has dark times ahead of it.
@Abradolf Lincler, ya I shouldn't have responded by calling him a moron that was dumb.
@Michael Fassbender, though I may have stretched the definition of cynicism somewhat, the point remains the same
@Runnin with scissors, maybe not. But it does say something that we were the shot heard round the world.
@Michael Fassbender, lmao I'm not entitled to live? Your God disagrees with you as I live, breathe, and type. Again I love that you're the judge of who is entitled, who deserves, and who is unamerican. By your ridiculous logic, you shouldn't have gutted those houses, because those morons chose to buy a house in an area that would get flooded. You also shouldn't have helped raise that money for testicular cancer because that's the hand life dealt those men. Quite frankly, I don't care what you think I deserve or am entitled to, because until the day your promoted to a position of power that can shut down the food bank and put an end to my life your just a silly troll on a silly app with no power to make anything happen.
@Michael Fassbender, if you want a TL DR line I'm basically saying that ignoring the poor is not in your self interest.
@Runnin with scissors, you watched a couple documentaries. Sorry I didn't realize we had someone of your historical knowledge in our presence. You're obviously so educated on this subject because of you extensive research. What's the point of even arguing if you are already the leading historian in this field.
@notMrWonka, hey buddy... Pretty sure he's an athiest, though I may be wrong... and no, you can help being poor by getting a job. You cannot help getting cancer or your house flooding.
@Abradolf Lincler, she's raising communists. A part of me actually hopes trump is the next hitler. Society could use a cleansing.
@Michael Fassbender, no they're taking on the Muslims we displaced by funding the Syrian terrorists, look it up we gave and sold them all of their shjt, and then we refused to take responsibility for it so Europe thinking about the social well being of people took them in. Also no Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden and Austria are all currently lower on unemployment, higher on wage, and better off on personal happiness than we are. I don't know where you are getting your facts but please notice this site http://www.tradingeconomics.com/germany/wages
@notMrWonka, I don't believe in god you stupid assumptive fυck
@Michael Fassbender, don't just listen to buzz facts
@notMrWonka, when I say you're not entitled to life I mean no living thing on this planet get to live for free, we all work or we die
@notMrWonka, that was a 1 in 500 year flood how could they have known. Civilized people haven't been there for 500 years
@Simetricwl , I was being condescending. I don't actually believe that people deserve to live with cancer or have their homes flooded. Just like I don't believe that someone has to go hungry. Many of the people my food bank help have jobs, they just don't make enough to do everything they need to. The people who don't have jobs are unable to work, some are veterans, others are handicap, while many are elderly.
@Michael Fassbender, if you're talking about the historical record I can guarantee you that I generosity and kindness has more dividends that selfishness in the long run.
@Michael Fassbender, I've been saying a lot lately. We need about 12 years of totalitarian dictatorship. Only one way to go from the bottom, right?
@Michael Fassbender, wow all you do is insult people and try to belittle them when you can't actually come up with anything concrete. Please explain to me what are your qualifications to be able to evaluated this more accurately because all I'm doing is spouting off the stuff that I was told by laureates. Please explain to me where your einsteinian level of understanding of every subject comes from because all I ever see you do on here is flip out and bjtch one way or the other and then when you feel small you start insulting people.
@Runnin with scissors, Islam is not a religion of peace. Those towel headed goat fυckers want to destroy the Christian society and values that is Europe. If I had my say I'd take all the oil from the Middle East and glass every last one of those dune goons.
@notMrWonka, I know what you were being. I just chose to point out a flaw in your argument. Don't write it if you don't want it used against you.
@Captain Anderson, struggle is the true test of work ethic
@Michael Fassbender, yes. I'm the stupid one, yet you demand that people sing a song to an inanimate object that promotes a religious ideology that you don't even believe in. You just made this conversation all the more ridiculous, and I didn't even think that was possible. You're right about everything. Good night.
@Michael Fassbender, A work ethic that cannot exist? Did you not read my comment?
@Michael Fassbender, so that's not the point. Not all of the refugees are even Muslim anyway. I actually can't understand your point behind saying any of that it has nothing to do with your original point or my rebuttal.
@Runnin with scissors, can we all just agree that he's a self loathing moron who needs attention and move on?
@Runnin with scissors, you believe everything you're told, all the Muslims will come in and everything will be great. That's not the case. Western society and Islam can not and will not ever coexist in the same place. I'm sure a buzzfeed article told you 23 reasons Islam is cool so now you're an expert on it.
@Captain Anderson, if you need to survive. You'll develop a work ethic or die. Improving society.
@Michael Fassbender, you seem to be missing the point. If you push people far enough, I'm saying that the work ethic that they invent for themselves will be revolution
@notMrWonka, I believe in God as an abstract concept. The reason we say we're a nation under God is because that's the only power the founding fathers thought to be more superior than man. That's why it says endowed with certain unalienable right by their creator. Whatever you believe is a higher power than you is the only thing that rules you
@Michael Fassbender, oh buddy, Christianity is not free of a bunch of shjt throwing.
@Michael Fassbender, please explain how I believe everything I am told because so far you insult me, didn't cite a source of any kind for your info (so all you've got are opinions), overlooked a reputable source, and provide no evidence to support your claims. I don't like religion I am atheist I disagree with Christianity and Islam. I believe blindly following anything only leads to hate.
@Captain Anderson, Revolution is a natural part of humanity
@Captain Anderson, Christianity has values that lead a society to become dominant
@Michael Fassbender, so you're that violence is an answer to economic inequity
@Captain Anderson, *saying
@notMrWonka, if that helps you sleep at night then use that rationale to feel good about yourself
@Captain Anderson, yeah, I'd like to see the poors try to overthrow anything
@Michael Fassbender, also that wasn't the argument please explain how nationalism won us the war, how nationalism is so important (more important than actual success), and explain how socialism is leading those economies to destruction because I'm curious. However if you don't have any sources that are reputable all I'm gonna see is a 5 year old with an iPhone and what daddy told him.
@Michael Fassbender, I thought we already established what makes me feel good about myself. Are you even paying attention anymore?
@Michael Fassbender, well I certainly agree that Christianity does have some tenants that make it pretty successful, like the three theological virtues. Faith, hope, and charity
@Captain Anderson, he's saying anyone not like him, or not cut from the same cloth as him is undeserving of life.
@Runnin with scissors, I'll make this very simple so an inbred mongoloid like you can understand. Socialist countries expenses exceed their revenues resulting in net loss. Understand? If it's too complicated go find a smart person and maybe they can help you.
@Runnin with scissors, you didn't site a source either... nobody here sites sources...
@Simetricwl , god damn right
@notMrWonka, if you don't work you shouldn't live. Name me one animal that doesn't work to survive and I'll admit that you're right
@Michael Fassbender, Jamal down the street I guess... last I saw it was all welfare and food stamps...
@Michael Fassbender, oh see I can disprove that very easily by simply going online and pulling a URL but I still haven't seen any sources to support your claim so I'll give you another chance if you'd like. Please explain how socialist countries like Germany who have a stronger economy than ours seeing how they can support a mass immigration of refugees and actually grow according to the source I previously cited. Please give me a source so I don't just believe what I am told.
@Michael Fassbender, also I still want to know where your deep knowledge of every subject comes from because all I get from you so far is deep ignorance and an ability to overlook requests for sources of your information.
@Runnin with scissors, he actually did say how it HELPED. Also, there are no sources anywhere, including on your side of this.
@Michael Fassbender, have you forgotten your theological teachers? Did not St. Francis of Assisi remove his rags and give it to the man who had less than him?
@Simetricwl , I did indeed cite a source that shows Germany's economic growth and then reaching a record wage this year in late July after the refugee issue.
@Runnin with scissors, so apparently you don't understand. Go find a smart person, do you live by a school? Go in and ask a teacher to explain it to you. Also you've yet to give a credible source.
@Michael Fassbender, the pilot fish.
@Michael Fassbender, what was your source? Yourself? Because I got news for you all you are is full of it.
@Runnin with scissors, okay, so you want to talk about germany. The country supported by all the countries that beat them in WWII, including the US and Russia.
@Simetricwl , I already said this but I guess you are as bad at logic as reading: http://www.tradingeconomics.com/germany/productivity
@Runnin with scissors, economics class
@Runnin with scissors, shoo go find an adult to explain this to you
@Michael Fassbender, oh my goodness I already said you were right, (I mean I didn't believe it but I said it for your benefit) what more do you need? My intention was never to change your mind. I stated long ago that I knew I wasn't going to change your mind, and that you weren't going to change mine. Honestly I've been humoring and entertaining you up until this point. Regardless of what you say, feel, believe, there are still programs out there to help people who are unable to help themselves and that's never going to change. Furthermore, I will never say the pledge of allegiance, nor will I ever shame someone for doing so. You be a patriotic American in your way, and I will be one in my own way. I bid you ado. Good luck on your finals.
@Captain Anderson, St. Francis was a pussy
@Simetricwl , can you explain what HELPED?
@notMrWonka, why do you try and gain the high ground here? It's a false victory for you.
@Simetricwl , oh you mean how our government led us into a war by promoting themselves to earn a profit?
@Runnin with scissors, America is the second strongest economy on earth dumbass. Jesus, seriously I don't feel safe knowing that someone like you will be driving on the same road as me. Probably get distracted by a butterfly and drive into oncoming traffic.
@Simetricwl , the country that was put into the worst economic position in history after world war 1 after they never even lost by France, England, and the US.
@Michael Fassbender, Fassbender, Fassbender- I think you just committed a logical fallacy. You gave no rebuttal to why Saint Francis and the three Christian theological virtues are incorrect. You merely insulted the character of one of the most revered men in all of Christianity
@Michael Fassbender, I've taken 3 Econ classes.
@Captain Anderson, i don't give a motherfυck about religion
@Runnin with scissors, yes, and because they were doing so bad is why WWII happened, which is why we helped them afterwards.
@Michael Fassbender, not per capita only on a size basis is the US the strongest which isn't saying a lot. Please come back with something more credible for our success
@notMrWonka, you didn't state an animal that doesn't work
@Michael Fassbender, do you hold malice against the poor for any particular reason?
@Runnin with scissors, .com websites are credible
@Simetricwl , because winning an argument with the likes of Mike is also a false victory, at least I don't have to reduce myself to his level.
@Captain Anderson, they demand equality for unequal work
@Michael Fassbender, oh no .coms are usually really bad edu. Or gov. Are way better but if you look at the source of this site it gets info from global Econ. .gov and also has been established with 10 editors for 10+ years, that's why I'm ok citing a .com
@Runnin with scissors, well this .com
@Runnin with scissors, sure you didn't take the same one 3 times? It'd be a miracle if you actually passed. That or you know what the professors balls feel like hitting your chin
@Michael Fassbender, you really like to bounce away from arguments that you have no way of proving please come back to the original stuff about nationalism and socialism.
@notMrWonka, I think saying that is a fallacy. You did that when you argued with him. Stopping now just makes you a quitter. Maybe you should have thought of that when you said good night, but then kept going.
@Runnin with scissors, per capita doesn't mean shιt. If they wanted to could they fight a war against the huge swinging cock of the United States? No. They couldnt
@Michael Fassbender, 1) symbiotic parasites don't work. 2) we are a more advance species. We also don't eat our young. And while there are some hunters out there, most of us get our food at the local grocery store and some from their local food pantry. We drive cars and work 9-5 jobs and watch way too much Netflix and have sex for pleasure. We're an evolved species and comparing us to a wild animal is a discredit to the entire human species. How unhuman of you.
@Michael Fassbender, i'll pose a scenario to you. I inherit a couple million dollars. I could invest that money and maybe get a return. Or, I could do something known as (I think) money changing. Somewhat simple but the basic idea is that money systems fluctuate in value relative to other money systems. So say one day the pound drops $.10 to a dollar. I have a home in England so I just buy a ticket bring all my money with me and I convert it to the pound then when the pound stabilizes and comes back to its previous value or maybe goes a little bit above it- I switch back to the American dollar. With enough money this will generate more money than I will ever need for no work whatsoever. Shjt ton of rich people do this.
@Michael Fassbender, meanwhile there's 100 poor people looking to score 20 jobs. I could hire 20 people full-time, and pay them benefits health insurance and all the works, or I could hire more of them to do it part time and I wouldn't have to pay them as much.
@Michael Fassbender, I can see how that's unequal work
@Michael Fassbender, but when a rich person actually does spend their time and money actually investing it's amazing
@Simetricwl , you're right, I'm saying the same thing to myself, but it's honestly just too damn funny and entertaining to not keep it up. But I really do need to go to bed.
@notMrWonka, symbiotic relationships are mutually beneficial. That's simply inarguable.
@notMrWonka, symbiotic parasites do work.
@Michael Fassbender, so once again you go to insults instead of providing any evidence my god are you trump in an alter ego?
@Michael Fassbender, per capita means everything in economics without it you can't compare economic wellbeing. War and soldiers are different than a countries prosperity or didn't any Econ class teach you that?
@notMrWonka, that's your problem you think a human is so much more than an animal. There's nothing special about your life or my life. We're so god damn predictable. We're just taller smarter hairless apes. Just walking on a rock chasing whatever releases dopamine in our brain. If you don't get that humans are just stupid animals then you are not smart.
@notMrWonka, again, it's a cop out to get a moral high ground in an argument.
@Runnin with scissors, no no I really want to continue with this Christianity stuff it's very good
@Michael Fassbender, I just really love that. "Could they fight a war with the huge swinging cock of the United States? No. They couldn't." I really like that one.
@Captain Anderson, the thing is someone in that family lineage worked hard enough to give that inheritance. If you did hypothetically have a let's say half billion dollar estate would you want it so that future generations of your family could live relatively easy lives?
@Morty S, oh man you really opened up a can of worms
@Michael Fassbender, but didn't you say that struggle was the Essence of work ethic? Am I allowed to become complacent just because someone before me happened to stumble onto success?
@Runnin with scissors, America could never pay a debt again, we do it because of morals. We could tell every country we will never pay our debts and nothing would come of it. DON'T. FUCΚ. WITH. US.
@Michael Fassbender, basically this is what I've gotten from you so far. People without work ethics don't deserve to live, but if someone gave me a lot of money I could morally renounce my work ethic
@Simetricwl , why? It has nothing to do with the argument. Yes the US has the biggest military in the world you know what suffers because of that poor allocation of funding? Our economic system which does not benefit or rely on our military power. The only reason you liked that is because you want America to be powerful and for whatever reason it makes you feel powerful when there's not a lot to feel powerful about other than our military.
@Michael Fassbender, now that sounds really interesting. Isn't defaulting on a loan a symptom of not having a work ethic?
@Runnin with scissors, Donald Trump is your president and a lot of people like myself are going to be in power. Trump is the greatest decision our country ever made. If you don't like my ideology, you might want to book a flight to the land of towel heads because as you think Islam is a peaceful religion. I'll look for the video of you being beheaded.
@Runnin with scissors, noooo... I liked that because I liked the phrasing. The huge swinging cock of the United States. And let's go back to something Trump said. "Take the guns from her bodyguards, see what happens to her."
@Captain Anderson, if you worked hard enough to where you could do that then yeah
@Michael Fassbender, oh so we should cut trade with all of the world because that's what would also happen due to being so unreliable to not even pay our debts that we created. Ya you're right! DONT. FVCK. WITH. US, or we will fail long term (according to every economist for our government).
@Captain Anderson, that's twisting a few words. Not by much. But it is.
@Michael Fassbender, but I, ME- didn't work for that wealth
@Simetricwl , then tell me what conclusion I should draw
@Simetricwl , same to him so many people hate him he has fvcked every construction company he has ever employed and has over 500 current lawsuits against him as well as deals with very sketch people. When did I ever support Hillary btw?
@Michael Fassbender, I never agreed with Islam's message but I guess you don't like to read or find the sources of your information. I'm still waiting for your response to the original argument and not all of these deflections....
@Simetricwl , not at all saying I'm not gonna pay you after you did the work is a lack of work ethic look up the definition. There was no twisting of words.
@Captain Anderson, you would still be raised with a work ethic, just not that of a poor man. My grandparents came here poor, worked in steel mills and became middle class. My parents were raised middle class and went to college and got good jobs. I was raised in upper class and am going to college and I'm expected to exceed my parents and continue that. I have good role models and a good idea of how I want my life to be. A huge problem with America is that a lot of people, mostly inner city, aren't raised with that so they look for alternative routes to succeed which frequently end up being illegal.
@Runnin with scissors, um... never? I don't know why you asked that.
@Runnin with scissors, and we can take all the rest out with us. NUKES BITCH NUKES
@Runnin with scissors, www.gofυckyourself.com
@Runnin with scissors, again, not true. Saying I'm not gonna pay you after you did the work AND we agreed on a price, that's bad. Not a lack of work ethic though. Rather, its really a good move. I mean, whats the guy gonna do? It's a lack of work ethic that he didn't sue.
@Michael Fassbender, I think you'd be hard-pressed to find more than a handful of large scale businesses that aren't connected to what you called "alternative routes to succeed which frequently end up being illegal"
I think we both agree that a lot of people suck. However just because someone was raised poor or someone was raised Rich doesn't mean that they have to be a certain way.
@Captain Anderson, but whomever gave you the wealth SHOULD make sure you're smart enough and responsible enough to handle the wealth
@Simetricwl , well you're all quoting trump so strongly and I'm so surprised that you would even do that without thinking I was a Hillary supporter and were just trying to piss me off because he is the epitome of unreputable sources.
@Michael Fassbender, i'm going to be back in the morning. Please do keep commenting though- I want to see where this goes
@Michael Fassbender, or the Kongo could do that with their huge uranium reserves.
@Michael Fassbender, so now you're saying if the world won't bend to the US we will just blow up the world?
@Captain Anderson, everyone should aspire to be the richest.
@Runnin with scissors, yeah, fυck it. Human life doesn't matter unless it's American lives
@Michael Fassbender, from your silence on the original arguments I take it you are in agreement that socialism is way better in Europe than what we are doing, and that reciting the pledge is dumb and so is empty nationalism. Just what I'm taking from your silence
@Runnin with scissors, okaaaaay... let's break this down, slowly. I know it's getting harder for you.
I don't think one quote from him means I'm quoting him so strongly. It was a quote that works in the context. Doesnt matter who said it.
Why are you surprised that I would do that without thinking you're a hillary supporter? The two are unrelated. I think you need to get your panties out of a wad.
I'm not trying to piss you off, merely educate.
@Runnin with scissors, oh and of American lives really only conservative republican lives are important
@Runnin with scissors, there's not much more to be said other than socialism has always failed, look at Venezuela, Europe is headed for the same fate. Nationalism is the United States greatest asset because if I murdered you but used this comment section as evidence there would be massive outcry saying I should go free.
@Simetricwl , haha that's what I was trying to do maybe we're on the same side but one of us fails to cite sources or be credible (you). From my experience when you criticize trump as a politician and have somewhat liberal ideals people assume you are a supporter of Hilary maybe that was wrong to assume but hardly the point of all of this.
@Michael Fassbender, Im glad you finally "came out" and have no more qualms to voice your opinion unsupported by any fact or logic but please realize all you have is any opinion but like a penis, it's fine to share with those willing but certainly wrong to shove it down children's or other people's throats.
@Runnin with scissors, on the contrary. Any point brought up in an argument that is at least a little related is the point. Then again, you weren't relating anything, so no, I guess it wasn't.
@Runnin with scissors, you don't have facts either, you just believe everything you read
@Runnin with scissors, your life will be much like your penis. Humiliating.
@Michael Fassbender, wow you really believe that you are right after stating one example and not showing any support for the other. While I have showed prosperity under socialism and a failing of the others. You should try taking some Econ courses because most economists project another big crash since we haven't forced the banks to hold bigger reserves or not take on lower risk people and no longer be allowed to loan to high risk people. Oh and that's part of socialism.
@Runnin with scissors, free markets are the only way economies work. Anyone not smart enough to survive in one is not mentally capable to live in society and we do not need them tainting the gene pool.
@Runnin with scissors, stop arguing socialism. It has never worked for over a century.
@Michael Fassbender, pleas for the love of god and my sanity give me a source or something to base your knowledge on because as of now I may as well be arguing with a toddler. You: "My dad is the strongest!" Me: "well there's a lot of strong people out there including ..., they have shown huge strength. What has your dad done?" You: "well once he picked me up!" Me: "well ya a lot of people can do that including ..., but why is he stronger?" You: "well you're just dumb!" Me: "ok but I still need a reason."
@Runnin with scissors, *please for the love of god*
@Runnin with scissors, you know, I know it, we all know it. That right there is what wins POTUS. I'll be the bigger person and condescend to your level of retardation. Socialism works out well on paper, until you run out of other people's money. Europe was very wealthy when it implemented its socialist programs and maybe they can work well for 50ish years, but it will fail. Socialisms end goal is communism and communism requires everyone to participate and sorry to tell you this but Americans simply don't roll over like the rest of the world. It's our cowboy, self made man, American Dream mentality. You will never stop that.
@Michael Fassbender, and we have a less free market than 7 socialist countries. Or didn't you research that? Also it has worked for over 70 years and we had our biggest period of recent success during our most socially funded period of time 60s-70s. Explain why it doesn't work because the loss of revenue is bull if you take a basic accounting course and know how balances work.
@Michael Fassbender, anyway I gotta do some homework so I'm gonna go but I'm more than happy to evaluate your arguments if you cite sources and stay on point.
@Michael Fassbender, see that's an opinion that socialism will fail in fact according to the source I cited earlier Germany is doing better than it has ever overall and it's been social for almost 60 years Denmark has been social for almost 80. The reason that it works is because they fund what the people need not a bloated military or poor foreign policy.
@Runnin with scissors, backing out like the liberal pussy you are, when other people win an argument hiding is a good rebuttal. Homo
@Runnin with scissors, they don't need a military because they're allies with the US stupid queer
@Runnin with scissors, I already said it, no matter how much you piss your pants and bitch about it. Donald Trump is our president, the house is republican, the senate is republican, the Supreme Court is about to be republican. Your breed of misinformed socialist disappointments will soon be eradicated.
@Runnin with scissors, I have one final question. Do you own a gun?
@Morty S, wow, i cannot believe i read all of the comments.. and to those argueing with Michael, it's so obvious he's a troll. If he were debating in the real world rather than an app, he wouldn't last a second. Name calling is desperation and childish, he can't even have a civil debate. Imagine these debates in front of an audience, he'd sound like a freaking child blasting off his opinion and name calling rather than stating facts. Thats not a debate, that's phishing for attention. Pay no mind to him, he's obviously off his meds, or a fanatic.
@Sakine, I just finished too and that pretty much sums it up. I'm excited to see the comment chain tomorrow.
@Michael Fassbender, you do realize that whenever one side pulls ahead by a significant margin (Republican/Democrat) just pointing that out.
@Michael Fassbender, lol this whole thing was interesting. Excellent bait, but you try to hard to piss people off and it comes off as desperate sometimes. Nevertheless you got some quite gullible bites on this.
@Sakine, I know, Fassbender is a troll (hopefully), but don't say that it wouldn't work on stage – look who got elected
@Michael Fassbender, everyone should aspire to be the richest, isn't that a sin?
@Michael Fassbender, leave
@Morty S, at the same time I feel as if it should be like communion in church. You should n understand and reflect on what you are saying/doing otherwise it becomes just a thing you say automatically without meaning it or maybe even the ability to mean it.
@Sakine, hey pussy, it gets people elected.
@Captain Anderson, so what if it's a sin, sinning is usually really fun.
@stadium seating, no. I'll stay thank you very much. Just like Donald Trump is going to stay in the White House these next 4 years.
@Captain TR8R, I'm not trying to bait people. I genuinely hate almost everyone that isn't similar to me, they are less intelligent.
@Captain Anderson, you're god damn right. People are sick of crying bitching liberal pussies. It's time for y'all to sit down, shut up, and let the men take over.
@Captain Anderson, average fucκing sucks
@Michael Fassbender, yea, all the brainless sheep like that kind of stuff. Congrats Shiitler.
@Sakine, the "brainless sheep" are in power. Those "brainless sheep" are also the most well armed group of civilians on the planet. So way does you group of "well educated" people have? You have safe space in college campuses because others opinions can "trigger" you and that's bad because feelings are important.
@Michael Fassbender, stfu with that dribble. Just because someon is well educated doesn't mean their hyper sensitive. The sheep can bring it on. Seeing the size of their brain, they'll end up just killing themselves off eventually. (And no this isn't aimed towards every Trump supporter. You know the kind I'm talking about)
@Sakine, most wealthy people are republicans. It's also been proven that conservative women are more attractive. So we've got money, guns, and girls. What's your side got? Fat acceptance?
@Michael Fassbender, ha! The only thing worth catering to in that comment was the wealthy republicans. Of course they voted for Trump, they know a billionaire isn't gonna harm another billionaire. I mean, he even straight out promised them in private that he would get their taxes down. Those aren't the people I'm talking about, they're just playing the wealthy game.
@Sakine, so you've pretty much already admitted to being ok with an awful life. You're a sad little boy.
@Sakine, oh and democrats don't give a shít a bout income inequality. There was 8 years of a democrat. Nothing changed.
@Michael Fassbender, i don't know what awful life you're referring to. I live a wonderful life, i fear for others who aren't as fortunate. I mean you lack compassion, so you would think of it as some sort of "weakness" or something. But ya know, being a troll and all, it's not even worth a legit discussion cause it'd just go around in circles. Live long and prosper loser.
@Sakine, I'm not a troll, just a conservative on an app full of failure liberal pussies
@Michael Fassbender, like i said, your not being patriotic, you're being a fanatic.
@Sakine, like I said. You're a pussy.
@Sakine, and you can't prove you're not a pussy.
@Michael Fassbender, well, i have one, so, i guess you're not technically wrong. Later, i have to start work soon. Have fun yo.
@Sakine, if I would have known you were a woman this would have been much shorter. Your opinion doesn't matter. The men are back in charge so go off and be quiet.
@Michael Fassbender, the only pussy in this whole conversation is you. Oh my grandfather would slap the shìt out of you, he hates fake patriots who only talk big. Only true men like him and I have the right to our opinions, the fake bitches should just go back to their mothers basement and jerk off to anime.
@Captain TR8R, what makes you a true man, maybe your grandpa, like mine, fought in a war. What have you ever done?
@Michael Fassbender, I'm a veteran as well. 1st Armored in Germany for awhile, then was deployed to Desert Storm.
@Captain TR8R, and what about that made you a man? Did you kill someone? Did that make you a man?
@Michael Fassbender, I've actually served my country. But pussies like you who talk a big game but don't have the balls do anything real just piss us off. Don't talk about being a man when you whine like a bitch.
@Captain TR8R, so because I did good enough in school to where I can go to college I'm "not a man". So if I was a dumbass and flunked out of college and enlisted that would make me a man but because I am pursuing an education I'm incapable of being "a man". That's a rather fucκed up rationality you've got there friend. Oh and I'm joining the Navy when I graduate so yeah.
@Michael Fassbender, better red than dead, right?
@OnlyUtahKidOnFp, God damn right
@Michael Fassbender, suuure you are ;) you talk a big game for sure but can't back any of it. So you said your grandfather fought in war right? Was he a dumbass? You think your grandfather was a dumbass? That's cold
@Captain TR8R, well for one he's dead so, thanks dickweed. My grandfather lived in a time when being well educated was not as valuable as it was today. He dropped out of high school to work in the steel mill to support the women in his family after the men all died. If that doesn't make him a man I don't know what does.
@Captain TR8R, I was fortunate enough to be able to focus on my school and I'm in college at one of the best schools in the nation. Why is it so often you uneducated types hate those with superior Intellect?
@Michael Fassbender, If you have the superior intellect then Trump is actually a Democrat. You know nothing about me. You assume I am uneducated because I enlisted? That's true stupidity. Your grandfather would be ashamed of how you turned out. If people like you are coming out of the "best school in the nation" then I pity our great country's future
@Captain TR8R, so what's the highest form of education you've completed?
@Captain TR8R, yeah, get quiet now
@Michael Fassbender, I received my college degree and enlisted afterwards because I felt it was my duty to serve. I didn't go to the "best school in the nation" but I did get my degree
@Michael Fassbender, get quiet? That's precious!
@Captain TR8R, degree in what?
@Michael Fassbender, Electrical Engineering. What are you going for?
@Captain TR8R, petro
@Michael Fassbender, that is impressive. So obviously you aren't an idiot and neither am I. Can we just end this now?
@Captain TR8R, k queer
@Michael Fassbender, thanks bitch XD
@Captain TR8R, cry bout it retard
@Michael Fassbender, after you cuntwaffle
@Captain TR8R, I truly hope you get cancer
@Michael Fassbender, brb pissing on your grandpas grave
@Captain TR8R, can't wait till you outlive your child
@Michael Fassbender, ah that felt great. Ended up taking a shìt, now your dear gramps is just as shìtty in death as he was in life
@Michael Fassbender, your comment thread was truly a work of art. Shame it had to be that Jesus painting that lady fvcked up.
@Sakine, I love you.
@stadium seating, lmao!
@notMrWonka, tried to send a heart, didn't seem to work. ㅎㅅㅎ
@Sakine, it's all good baby, I got your love!
@Michael Fassbender, well you still haven't responded to my original question and appears never did but I guess that just means you are incapable of doing so sorry about the late response it's finals week and I've been a bit busy. Yes I own two a .22 and a .44. Why do you ask?
@Runnin with scissors, *did intend to*
@Michael Fassbender, what the actual fvck is wrong with you
@stadium seating, I'm better than you
Unrelated sidenote. If anyone ever through any means, shaming, yelling, even physically, tries to force you to say the Pledge of Allegiance you might remind them to read the constitution.
@Captain Anderson, seriously stuck pixel? R E T A R T E D. You just literally became an example of what I was trying to say in my comment.
back to my original comment. Unrelated sidenote.
if someone gets pissed off at you for not being perfectly PC, and using words like minimally exceptional – tell em to fvck off.
The word gets thrown around a lot without actually being known what it describes, but Orwellian is loosely used to describe a scenario in which speech is altered such that critical thinking is rendered difficult or impossible- as part of a larger scenario that is destructive to the welfare of a free and open society. Look up the definition of the word that I spelled out above. If using proper english makes you feel bad to the point where you have to modify other people's behavior because you can't control your own feelings – I don't say this much but please- go Fvck yourself
*Ohh s- say c-c-can you s-see, by t-the Dawn's early light. PLEASE Don't SHOOT
The pledge was created to help sell flags. Look it up for more details.
When I was a stupid high schooler, I decided not to bother with the pledge. I was a rebel. I wasn't a sheep. What a friggin moron I was.
Trust the government? Heck, I'm in the government and I don't trust it. You don't have to trust in the government to be a good American, you just have to believe in your country.

@Runnin with scissors, lol whoops...
@Runnin with scissors,
Let that be a lesson to you
