And with this statement we can determine that this person has never worked retail.
@TheKen42, seriously though people try to use counterfeit money anywhere. Sorry for making sure I don't accept fake money.
@A Math Dealer, its also company policy, and you can bet your ass i'm not gonna lose my job because you happened to have bad money
@TheKen42, or food service. We get screwed all the time. Had to take up anti-counterfeit measures.
@A Math Dealer, this is very true. The smarter counterfeiters use the fake money at low end retailers and fast food because the change they get back is legitimate, and they are much less likely to get caught than trying to pass it off at a bank. Dumber counterfeiters are like, "lulz, I have fake money! I want to buy something! Let's get a burger! And a bunch of cheap crap I don't need! It'll be hilarious!" All this to say, places like this are much more likely to get fake money than high-end places. The person complaining about this doesn't know what he's talking about.
@ cobyone27, I had someone use a fake $5 bill. I asked the bank wtf and they said secret service said they use it to test their process. Ten dollars and up get checked because of it. I'm not gonna be out money because it takes half a second longer.
@A Math Dealer, yeah the goal of fake money is usually to get a lot of legitimate ml ey in change. So, using a 20,50,or 100 at the dollar store is a VERY common use of counterfeit money.
Seriously thought they meant to say 'Poland'
@Abusive Breasts, I thought it did say Poland until I saw your comment.
Pretty sure the cashier would rather piss you off than get fired for not following protocol. Who's to say that the bill that ends up being counterfeit didn't come back to you from a different cashier who DIDN'T do the double-checking? No one thinks you made it in your basement.
@Splash Bro, it makes me angry when the cashier looks at my money like it's counterfeit. Bitch would I be shopping at the dollar store if I knew how to counterfeit?
@Splash Bro, What's there to translate?
@big freedom, yeah to get something that costs a dollar, pay for it with a fake $100 bill and get $99 back in legit money. That's the scam, stay woke.
@Albatraous, quite a bit for us dum americans
@unknownjanitor, there are literally only 4 words that are not used in a way that would be standard American English. For most people, even "dumb" ones, that isn't much but since you claim to be "dum" I guess you get a pass
@Mkb617, im sorry...I twas making a funny to make myself sound stupid.
@daftness5555, I was translating... as requested from splash bro.
Amazing the number of Americans in the comment section having a hard time understanding this.
@Albatraous, assuming that they are all American is a bit of an overreach unless they literally say they are American. However, lets not forget that stupid people are everywhere. There is not a place on this planet where you will not find an idiot except maybe in a cannibal village located in the Amazon or other vast jungle.
@Albatraous, i agree, there are literally 4 words that are not used the same way as standard American English. Nothing about this should be hard to figure out
@Mkb617, Only 4 words? So, are we just gonna ignore the phrase "proper fvcks me off"?
@Christa9584, well if you changed "proper fvcks" to "pisses" then you get "pisses me off" so only 2 of those 4 words aren't used like and American would use them then add "mate" and "poundland "..... so yes I'd still say 4 words
Is this english?
@Bigm222, its certantly isn't american
@Bigm222, all they did was add proper and mate, mate
@Bigm222, what is this
@Prince super Vegeta , I don't even?
@Bigm222, English poundland and American pound land are two verrrry different things
@Bigm222, yes it is. It is not American English but it is English
@Bigm222, yes british english
@Bigm222, its English English lol
@hansel not gretel, literally only 4 words aren't used in the way we would use them in standard American English. How tough is it?
@Mkb617, well I'm American so it is tough
@Mkb617, I think by "English" he meant "British," instead of "is this the English language" but idk
Most British caption ever written
You can feel the Brit in this
Poundland is the equivalent to the DollarTree for all of those who don't know.
@0r30, poundland has a different meaning in my mind
@Kikashe Hatake , i was thinking, never heard of thay brothel too
Can anybody translate to freedom words?
@MrLenny, "It pisses me off when cashiers look at my money as if it's fake. Man, if knew how to counterfeit money I wouldn't be shopping at Dollar Tree."
@MrLenny, it is not all that hard to figure out
@MrLenny, maybe I sounded rude to you so I will explain why it shouldn't have been hard for you to figure out...."proper fuc**" meant something like "it pisses"..... "mate" means friend or bitch or *sshole.... "poundland" is an English version of a dollar store.... so in that whole thing I guess the 4 words that aren't standard American English may have made it hard to decipher, that means figure out, so I apologize for my earlier statement.
For those who watch ASHENS on youtube this is where he goes for his poundland special videos
Hold up. No. Since this update has downloaded today, I've used the app 4 times and kept having to log in, pictures won't download, and when I view hi-res it takes me to the Internet. Wtf stuckpixel I want the old update
I read this in GradeAUnderA's voice
Seriously thought this was about someone who got off to cashiers refusing their money at a sex store.
Lol. Poundland=dollar store. "Gotta ticket to pound land baby let's go"
Is that like a British Dollar Tree
@1800blobert, You mean is Dollar Tree like an American Poundland?
(Joking guys. If you can't laugh at yourselves then you're clearly insecure about something)
Its actually required at a retail job.. You don't have to be offended if you know you're money is real.
i'll take you to poundland
I'm going to tell a buss driver to take me to Poundland.
That's exactly where you shop if you had counterfeit, cmon people, money laundering
What the fvck does this say
Poundland in a British setting is wildly different from poundland in a US setting..
Poundland is definitely a place I want to visit if you know what I mean.
I had a person that got screwed over twice on craigslist selling stuff and they got counterfeit money as payment and he had the police called on him for trying to use the money elsewhere, once at Burger King and once at Walmart. So you never know. Quit crying.
