The halocaust didn't happen
@Captain Anderson, is that the extermination of the Spartans?
@The Tower Of Pimps, Reach. Never forget
I'm 5% Christian, 10% satanist, and 85% atheist
@Tony Two Hands, and 100% reason to remember the name
@Tony Two Hands, You can technically be ethnically jewish you smarmy cůnt.
Now I finally have a legit reason to celebrate Hanukkah
I was born in a Jewish hospital, did I survive the holocaust too?
Jewish isn't even a race. It's not exactly passed by blood. It's a religion how would 2% Jewish even be relevant
@FriendlyWalrus, technically, being Jewish is much like being hispanic, while technically not a race it is something people identify as even if the aren't jewish in religion
@FriendlyWalrus, Yes it is. There are millions of people who are Jewish by heritage but not by religion, as in their ancestors were from the original Jewish tribes and possess similar physical attributes, just like any other race.
@MedalDeliveryMan, those would be the Israeli/Hebrew tribes who were Jewish. You would have Israeli in you not Jewish if you wanna be technical. It's like how my mom converted to Judaism as a teenager. The Jewish community still considers me Jewish although I'm not religious or have any Israeli blood.
@The nOly One, well that's not true. A Hispanic is anyone who is either from a Spanish speaking country or who's family has come from a Spanish speaking country. That's just a generalization of many races where as being Jewish has literally nothing to do with race and is instead a religion. Hispanic is the equivalent of White. Not all white people are from the same country but it's just a generalization
@Assassinator2399, jewish is not just a religion, it is a heritage, I know many "jewish" people who are christian or atheist, its not just a religion, I wasn't saying it is specifically like hispanics, just saying its more than a religion
@MedalDeliveryMan, ah, that's my bad. Thanks for clearing the confusion!
@FriendlyWalrus, it isn't relevant. There's only really Jewish, or not Jewish. If your mother is Jewish, you are Jewish. If your mother is not Jewish, neither are you.
According to Jewish law, anyway.
@MedalDeliveryMan, sorry man, that's not accurate. The tribes are primarily Israeli. That alone does not make one Jewish, which is part of the reason why the Jewish population is so low.
@I Are Lebo, Read a book or look it up on an internet database, I am correct.
@FriendlyWalrus, look up the Ashkenazi people
@MedalDeliveryMan, you are not correct, because you are basing your claim on an erroneous fact. Having Jews as ancestors does not make you Jewish by itself. Your mother must be Jewish. This actually causes some issues, as Christianity requires the father to be a Christian to recognize the child. So if your mom is Christian and your dad is Jewish, both faiths say you are not among them, whereas the other way around, both religions try to claim you as theirs.
These are among the laws of Judaism. I learned this stuff growing up, and in my Bar Mitzvah.
@MedalDeliveryMan, first hand knowledge trumps a book or internet database
Jewish is not a race
