Mine is actually on Christmas so this speaks to me. Twice we forgot to get a cake and nothing was open on Christmas day so happy birthday have some frozen boneless wings.

@ozzytiff, my son has his January 15th. I get post-Christmas sales but honestly it's not that big a deal for us yet. He's turning 5--- grandma's spoil him so I usually don't have to get presents haha!

@SchroedingerPussPuss, lol being a little away for Christmas helps and grandma helps a lot. My mom helps me too. She knows how hard it is being so close and he always wants a party but no parents wants to go to a party two days before Christmas.

@Redtiger, my husband has December 3rd. It's between paydays and between major holidays. His mom always tried hard to not double up but it was difficult

@Redtiger, aww tell her happy birthday. I hope she has a wonderful day today. I try to make a big deal out of Christians birthday. We went to sea world this year and he loved it since no one wanted to come to a party. I actually saved money doing it this way.
