No, we have to extrapolate for the sake of the paradox that whatever Pinocchio says he believes is complete arbitrary truth. So if he says he is lying he thus believes he is lying, inciting this paradox. The long drawn out "correction" is indicative of a pretentious transient state of mind which is really really obnoxious.
