Honestly Minecraft is getting a lot of shjt because of all the 12 year olds playing it, but I personally really love the game's concept, I have fun playing it from time to time and I also Play it with my two little brothers, who absolutely love Minecraft. It's like Lego but with even more possibilities.
@A pet named Steve, try Terraria
@WickedStyx, I hate Terraria. Love Minecraft, but hate Terraria.
@A pet named Steve, I agree. I've followed the game for a while now, and it's only been in the last couple of years where it's just become over saturated.
@MrPuffNStuff, they are definitely different games. I really don't like when people say that they're basically the same game, because that really gives you the wrong idea going in. Minecraft is more about building, Terraria is more about combat.
@A pet named Steve, I've been playing minecraft for the past 5 years and I haven't gotten tired of it, especially since Mohljang keeps making more and more updates that add more items and mechanics to the game. Also, play on servers, they're more fun than playing regular MC. Also I was an admin in one server that had around 500 players, it never stopped being fun.
@MrPuffNStuff, why, too complicated?
@WickedStyx, Like he said above just different games. Just not the type of game I like.
@MrPuffNStuff, makes sense. I won't judge
@WickedStyx, It may be cause I went into it expecting it to be just like Minecraft.
@MrPuffNStuff, yeah, it's way different. Sure, it has the building elements to it, but that's not the main focus of it. You usually just get weapons and kill bosses to get better weapons and armor. I personally prefer Terraria more, because it's more expansive, and can be played longer without finishing the main goals.
@Ultimatum, I agree, I have spent hundreds of hours (yes hundreds) on both games and they are WORLD apart, the only similarity are the fact that there's blocks and that's it.
@A pet named Steve, minecraft is a wonderful thing and with mods it gets even better. So many mods are out there. Wanna play a war game? There's a mod for that. Wanna make a rocket and explore the far reaches of space? There's a mod for that. Wanna play open world Pokemon? There is my favorite mod for that! Pixelmon. :D
@Lionsong, yes exactly! You can make it kind of your own game with mods which is super cool
@A pet named Steve, tnt cannons 4days
@A pet named Steve, has minecraft been getting shjt? I've only heard good things
@A pet named Steve, I agree, but I'm a bit of a minecraft snob, I only play with the finest of mods, so it fries my CPU to a delicate tenderness.
@A pet named Steve, It really is an awesome sandbox game, it just gets a bad reputation because of some of the community.
@A pet named Steve, to be honest I think that the game has run its course there's nothing that Mojang can add that moders haven't already done to a certain extent
@A pet named Steve, I often play it just to troll.
@A pet named Steve, I've been having a great time playing HEXXIT with my friends. I highly recommend downloading a mod pack loader, the possibilities become even more endless.
@A pet named Steve, I started playing Minecraft when it was beta version, the game was 4,99$ and was freakin amazing. They monetized the game way too much, it got boring
@Italian Mobster, you play hexit? I used to till I found Picelmon. What sever? We can try and meet up! I'm Lionsong448 ingame
I love games that don't sound fun at all when you explain them but you they are awesome
@Scottles, I don't know man, "raping the land" sounds like I'd have a whale of a time
Do people still play minecraft? It's been about 3 years since I played last
@Jebodeiasque, yeah, its still great. They added llamas to vanilla Minecraft....so yeah still pretty bau5
@gaemboi, and some wired underwater temple that gives you mining fatigue
@Jebodeiasque, I still play on a pixelmon sever( it's like open world Pokemon) and I love every minute!
@Jebodeiasque, whit mods and friends it never gets boring.The problem is finding friends
@Lionsong, I remember playing Pixelmon a lot back in 2013
@Jebodeiasque, why not come back :D
If it takes you days to mine diamonds you are doing it wrong then
@Thone09, In-game time?
@Thone09, well days in the game last minutes so...
@D4rkhum0r , twenty minutes to be exact
Makes sense to me.
@I Are Lebo, of course, there's an easier way. You really just need a couple of buckets.
@I Are Lebo, and earth and some lava - Assuming that you want to cast a portal.
Context: In Minecraft you have to go to a dimension called the Nether to get Netherrack, which has the ability to burn forever
Okay so the picture isn't all that funny so I'm going to post an off topic question instead. I just joined reddit and I'm wondering who else uses it and what are some good subreddits to follow?
@Finch, r/accidental renaissance
@Finch, r/imgoingtohellforthis (no really), r/offensivewallpapers....then theres all the porn.
@Finch, if you just joined reddit most of the content here is from the front page
@CrazyRightWinger, haha yeah I'm starting to realize that
Been playing mineshaft since it was first available to play. I have wasted and lost so many hours playing this game. I believe this game can will and does inspire people and will help produce some of the greatest architects the world has ever known.
*whispers* Terraria is better
Wool walls that close to a fire? Rookie mistake.
If you're just gathering two netherack for a fireplace chances are you won't need to fight any enemies.
I have it but honestly all the 8-bit gives me a headache after so long I wish they would have a graphical update for those of us that chose to download. I'm on PS4 with it though. I really enjoy dq builders. I know I'm gonna get a lotta downvotes for this but oh well lol
And my diamond sword sword sword
