First you want water, now you don't want water. Can't you people make up your minds?
@ArchonErikr, I believe asking them via message in a bottle might be more effective at the moment. Good question, though.
@ArchonErikr, don't misunderstand us, that second picture is us with out arms up giving thanks for the rain xD
@ArchonErikr, we were thirsty.. now we aren't.
@ArchonErikr, as a Californian I can confirm that this makes now sense. We were so desperate for water, but as soon as we get all the water we didn't have, we can't even handle it
Trust me Northern California wasn't ever in any trouble of running out of water. We were just nice enough to move some of our water to the coast and Southern California
"Get on my level" ~Western Washington
California's not the only thing that's wet
As a michigander will assume true
@Strider1321, as a Californian I can confirm
@Strider1321, I'd believe it, I don't ever leave the state so I'm a little ignorant
@Jake5150, yeah, who would leave michigan; it's high of 50's one day and high of 20's the next.
@Strider1321, It's supposed to be up to about 57 this weekend but that's too hot for me. Anything above 50 is too hot
@Jake5150, that's a down right hear storm there
@Strider1321, heat dammit
@Jake5150, don't come to Mississippi during the majority of the year. Our average day, during spring-beginning of autumn, is about 95-100ish. Quite frankly it sucks bc it's primarily humid weather
@TheSeasonIAm, It's currently 60 out and I'm getting too hot, wearing a short sleeve shirt and jeans is not enough. I may need to strip down more.
@Jake5150, our hot days reach about 105 I believe. Would be hotter but again I say we get it humid where I live.
As a northerner I can say I have river front property now
The lake Berryessa glory hole is finally flowing after almost 10 years of sadness! Solano/Napa County for massive glory coverage
CLIMATE CHANG..... BLLUUBBBBBBBBB BLUBBBB BLUUBBB
@smartstu, actually, no. Every decade, between the 5th and 7th year, we get heavy rains like this. 1986, 1995-96, 2005, and now 2016-17. Like clockwork.
@RogueKnight, lol. Love the down vote for saying something factual that you can google.
@RogueKnight, Blunbbbbbbbb blubbb uH blubbbbbbb!
I know sht happens in cycles.
I can confirm
Ugh it's going to rain again this 3 day weekend!
It's pretty accurate... I live in Sacramento, and the amount of water here is insane. This may turn out to be our wettest winter ever
@RogueKnight, I live in Sacramento as well. Have you seen Discovery park??
@dat butt hair doe, pictures only. I haven't made it downtown.
Mainly I have seen the southern part of the county and the Delta.
I've seen the watt and sunrise bridges.
@RogueKnight, it's been insane this year. My office use to be off of garden highway next to Discovery park. I just saw picture's and holy hell! That is some water. Have you two seen Yolo Bypass? It's almost the Yolo Bay.
@fuddruckers, yeah, I've seen the bypass. Mainly, ive just seen the cosumnes and mukolmne rivers, though.
@RogueKnight, I've been in Missouri for the last 2 week's but i have a few freinds in that area near the cosumnes. They've never seen it like that in over 20 year's. I live in Auburn so the flooding we get is isolated but sinkholes this year are opening everywhere in the hills it seems. Last month the Alta offramp on 80 fell into a bottemless pit.
@fuddruckers, yeah. Mudslides on 50 and 80 pretty much stopped traffic going over the mountains. It is absolutely crazy.
I'm a Sheriff's Deputy out here and I've almost had my weekends cancelled and gone to 12 hours days three times this year... Luckily pretty much everything has gone right up to the point where they would do that and then backed down for one reason or another. With this next week of rain we are getting, I'm not sure what to expect.
@RogueKnight, i totally forgot about the mudslides. Have they opened up 50 yet? You PCSO, or Sac? I work with an agency that widths mutal aid with ME office's in the north. Bunch on buddy's mixed into all of them. Sherrif Boners younger brother was my guitar teacher way back when I was in highschool. I love that family. Jones is also really cool. Talked with him on many occasions and he's really down to earth. You guy's have some standout leaders right now.
@fuddruckers, last I checked, 50 wasn't open yet, but that was yesterday. Can't remember if the Cal trans sign still said it today or not. Sac S.D. Bonners is a good sheriff. And yeah, Jones is down to earth. He has been doing a solid job. I've been impressed with him and the changes he has made, upgrades with technology, etc.
All of California*
@CynicalSir, except for Santa Barbara, last I read which was last week they were around 15% of their water capacity. Meanwhile Oroville is like chill guys! I got this! Need to take a leak.
