@LT PUNK ROCKET, Auto-bots! Rollout the checkbooks!
Just a total accumulation of the amount each country owes to others. pretty simple if accurate.
@Runnin with scissors, but doesn't it kind of show that the whole idea of country debt is a little silly? I mean when you think about it, it isn't like countries won't continue to loan to each other or as if countries don't all have loans out to others that they've still yet to receive
@Runnin with scissors, or the accumulation of the amount each government owes to its own citizens who purchased bonds
The dark lord Cthulu
@MrClassy77, oh r'lyeh?
@DHS Crisis Actor, bingo
So prepare for the coup of the century!
The inter galactic space station? Duh?
No the auto bots
Oh are they now reporting the nation debt and such only after obama leaves office? CNN is too bias to be treated as news
@Dephenistrator, it says the world is in debt
@HolyCatchphrase, duh. Reread my comment a little more slowly.
@Dephenistrator, that didn't help. made it worse, actually.
@Dephenistrator, maybe you reread it? The image says world debt, you said nation's debt. Two different levels
@Cloverleaf, wow, didn't think people wouldn't get "national debt and such" as covering both but people are triggered today
@Dephenistrator, except you said nation, singular.
@Dephenistrator, but the thing is you're saying this news was saved until after Obama left office due to bias when it's neither a republican nor democrat issue - it's the whole world and doesn't put the American president in a particularly good or bad light. And if you think people are "triggered" any time they question what you're saying, you have a hard life ahead of you.
@HolyCatchphrase, that reference to triggered people had to do with other posts. I had someone have a childish downvote tantrum on every pic i ever posted earlier that day. Not that it bothered me but holy cow, crazy people. Anyways, i know it wasn't line for line the same thing. But the news acting like a political engine is so rampant it pisses me off every day. Even though this one isn't the worst thing, i guess I'm sick funny pics posting political crap, this app was a break from any of that shjt until lately. I have been on here for years, and i am thinking of deleting the app for the first time. Does that now explain my post?
It's the amount countries own to their own private sector banks. Whenever the US needs money, for example, it borrows from private banks. We owe around $12 Trillion to our own banks and $8 Trillion abroad.
Pretty sure that's just the US alone.
@Ro4aL, nah we're on ly like 20 trillion
