@Mario Kart, The captain is asking StuckPixel (SP) to add the ability to select and copy comments so that we'd be able to share something like this comment elsewhere. Until StuckPixel does that, we'll just have to retype the comment ourselves. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about that.

@LittleChipin, But that's not how they work. They're designed to filter air that goes into the mask to prevent you from getting airborne diseases, not to stop you from spreading it to others.

@LittleChipin, they do in some cities. I've seen them in Seattle and Honolulu. Doctors in Seattle even recommend them and will give you some if you don't have any.

@TheRatMan, I mean yeah they're kinda freaky but that's also a cultural thing. Like Asians where them because in their culture it's become acceptable so no one really bats an eye (as far as I understand anyway). But honestly I'd need to see exactly how useful they are and what kind of results they actually bring in before I'd jump all in and say yes we need to adopt this for certain.

@Cliche Super Hero , They don't usually do much in public cause their meant to deal with breathing really close to people like a surgeon breathing near their patient. So unless there's an epidemic or something it's kinda useless. And it's accepted in places like China because people are still deathly paranoid of stuff like SARS. It's basically become standard there to be paranoid of SARS in anywhere ever.
