Hey guys, sorry for the long post. One of my former college soccer teammates died in a fire the other night. It is absolutely terrible but his gf and her kid are both safe thank goodness! It is incredible how life can change so fast and someone so awesome and wholesome can be taken like that. I know it's a long shot but if you care to help, they would be most appreciative; this has been set up for them. https://www.gofundme.com/stand-by-sam-and-hutch
@Mario Kart, Sorry for your and their loss, friend. Best of luck to them in finding their dog as well.
@Mario Kart, Request for SP, allow comments to be copied and pasted
@Apathetic Husk, thank you! I do hope they find it as well.
@Captain Penis, that is okay with me. What do you I need to do?
@Mario Kart, The captain is asking StuckPixel (SP) to add the ability to select and copy comments so that we'd be able to share something like this comment elsewhere. Until StuckPixel does that, we'll just have to retype the comment ourselves. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about that.
@Mario Kart, wait, it's not his son too?
@Tentastic, no from a previous marriage
I wish people who were sick in America would pick up this courtesy. Could prevent a lot of sickness from spreading
@LittleChipin, But that's not how they work. They're designed to filter air that goes into the mask to prevent you from getting airborne diseases, not to stop you from spreading it to others.
@TheRatMan, Actually wait, ignore that. I messed up. Still I think wearing them in public is ridiculous unless you got an epidemic.
@LittleChipin, they do in some cities. I've seen them in Seattle and Honolulu. Doctors in Seattle even recommend them and will give you some if you don't have any.
@TheRatMan, I mean yeah they're kinda freaky but that's also a cultural thing. Like Asians where them because in their culture it's become acceptable so no one really bats an eye (as far as I understand anyway). But honestly I'd need to see exactly how useful they are and what kind of results they actually bring in before I'd jump all in and say yes we need to adopt this for certain.
@LittleChipin, saw a dude in one that looked like a bear today on the L in Chicago. seem them fairly often here
@Cliche Super Hero , They don't usually do much in public cause their meant to deal with breathing really close to people like a surgeon breathing near their patient. So unless there's an epidemic or something it's kinda useless. And it's accepted in places like China because people are still deathly paranoid of stuff like SARS. It's basically become standard there to be paranoid of SARS in anywhere ever.
@LittleChipin, pff. Strengthen your immune system sissy
That is a Japanese demon guys, not a person! They're called slit mouth woman if anyone wants to look it up
That's Rebecca Ariane Givens, the stock photo Asian girl.
@TeaEarlGreyHot, also, she's from Vancouver
People in other countries wear them because the pollution is so I bad
Or they're trying to avoid getting SARS
@Sexy Homunculus, I've come from the future to laugh at you.
