I respect people who choose to be vegan. Eat whatever you want to eat, and good for you if you're healthier than me. Just don't try to tell me that I'm a bad person for eating meat, wearing leather and consuming the still beating hearts of my enemies. Don't question my lifestyle and I won't question yours. Okay? Okay.
@Nitr0Nerd, oh hey, I thought I was the only one who consumed the still beating hearts of my enemies
@WickedStyx, I try but they always stop beating when I cut it from their chest.
@Bluemama, Sometimes you just gotta get in there and not cut it out first
@Bluemama, just cut out he heart and keep the blood vessels and tubes around it intact. That way, your victim will still be alive when you first bite in
@Nitr0Nerd, not to mention it's better for the environment. I'm also not vegan. I love cheese and leather too much. But it's a respectable life choice.
@Nitr0Nerd, militant vegans are seen as wankers by other vegans because they believe that unless you are a vegan for ethical reasons then you aren't a real vegan
@Nitr0Nerd, my sentiments exactly. The same applies to politics, religion, any any other lifestyle or life philosophy. Just because somebody believes something different, it does not mean they are wrong.
@Nitr0Nerd, one of my best friends is vegan and if you ask him why, he'll calmly and rationally tell you. However if you don't ask him, he'll never bring it up. He is a good man
@Bluemama, fun fact- because the heart is composed of cardiac muscle and the presence of two nodes (the AV and SV nodes) which generate their own electric impulses, the heart will actually continue to beat outside of the body until it runs out of ATP
Use as kindling to start my barbecue.
Funny this should come up cuz I'm on a strict vegan diet. I only eat vegans.
"I want to be vegan to save the animals from dying"
Do you know what would happen to the animals if everyone suddenly turned vegan? 98.4 million cattle would be slaughtered alone because they are no longer generating marketable profit. And the maybe .5% of the livestock kept alive would be kept for maybe zoos. They don't have a place in nature since they have been domesticated for around 10,000 of years so releasing them is pretty much out of the question. Sorry for the rant, if you're vegan for health reasons yeah thats okay, if it's to "save the animals" that's really just dumb logic
@JC839, wouldn't those same cows be killed anyway then for meat? Either way they hella ded
@picsareforchumps, right? I don't even know what they are trying to accomplish
@JC839, I think what they mean is that after that no more animals would be raised to be killed. Therefore eliminating the suffering. Otherwise it would just continue forever. I think in the distant future we won't even eat meat because the population keeps growing and the system we have now isn't sustainable. Lab grown meat may become a thing O_O
I don't care what lifestyle choices people decide to follow. Just don't get in my face about it, or think it is your duty to try and changed me, or feel sorry for me.
