@Gonoopnoop, that was my first question too. I guess it's one of them rural states
@Gonoopnoop, possibly a university ag program farm. I have one down the street from my house. My ex went there periodically for class sometimes. Kinda cool if you ask me
@Gonoopnoop, our high school had a Ag program too, just a barn with some animals that the class had to take care of, #Canada
@Gonoopnoop, both high schools I went to had Ag programs with school farms but it was Arizona suburbs so maybe that's why
@Gonoopnoop, My grade school/middle school had a farm, but that's because it was a Waldorf (hippie) School. It was fun though we had a few sheep, a really fat pig, and four goats. My favorite was named Cocoa, she was awesome.
Good to know. A little concerning that the chicken is named nugget...
@Cynical Pancakes, she knows her fate
@Cynical Pancakes, More concerning is the fact that it is the grandmother...
@mssj7000, it's just the godmother, don't worry
@Pinkpuppetfred, I'm seeing things again..
My alpacas are prego and I have chickens. I should start pairing them off in godparent teams.
@stillnotginger, are the chickens already "companion" animals for the Alpaca's? do you do that with Alpaca's? I know sometimes people keep cats and chickens and such with horses to keep them company.
@LawyeredApe, they all live together in the barn. Its funny because the chickens are goofy and lay eggs in the alpaca's hay. The alpacas are very careful not to step on or hurt the eggs. I have seen chickens riding on the alpaca's backs like a horse lol
@stillnotginger, sounds awesome! I'm coming over to hang out in the barn.
@saturday night fever, welcome anytime. Its very soothing to hang out with them. They make a humming sound that is relaxing and their antics make me laugh daily. I also have skittish ducks and mini sheep and they all weave in and out of alpaca legs. The barn is always a hoppin place
@stillnotginger, For real, that sounds like the little farm that Babe lived on. Complete harmony and peacefulness with funny cute animals mixed in. Enjoy your awesome place! :)
