I don't understand why people do this. Just let people be whoever they wanna be or let them identify as whatever they wanna identify as. It doesn't matter how ridiculous it might sound to you. There is no way you could possibly understand them or they understand you. So just shut up and let people do whatever because it isn't harming anyone.

@Gonoopnoop, I don't care what people call themselves it's when you don't know someone well and don't know what they prefer and then they get pissed that you "mislabeled" them when they never even say what they prefer. Like wtf do you want me to do? I'm sorry you don't like what I called you but you're not exactly walking around with a name tag that says what you prefer

@Nymphadora Tonks, except when you work with people in a customer employee or hospitality setting you're trained not to ask that. We literally just had training at our hotel about LGBT guests and how to properly work with them to avoid any offense etc and when we asked them about that we were told to just say "hello my name is ____, and you are?" But that really is only helpful to people who work the front desk. For things like retail or food service and we're pretty much trained not to directly ask because it can offend people sometimes too. It's very touchy in areas of work like that because no company or business want to run the risk of a lawsuit or having to spend money comping things and losing money to keep people from suing or leaving bad reviews.
She could be bisexual I guess
