Clearly you haven't spent 4 years befriending other computer science majors at college...
@Angry Beaver, Mac ftw!!!
Just kidding i use windows 10 of course.
@Angry Beaver, as a ee, can confirm
@Angry Beaver, I figured you guys spent your time making windows emulators to run games on Linux.
@lockke, that's what virtual machines are for.
@Angry Beaver, same, I love talking to them about it too since as a bartender I don't get to socialize about those things as often, or at home, friends, family, etc.
Except that people totally talk about it though
"Man my computers been so slow lately"
"Oh yeah, that fvcken windows 10 update?"
"Fvck this sh!t, dude"
@abossassbitch, I have an i7 16gb of ram and an ssd my computer is never slow. Mwahahaha
@CrazyRightWinger, I have an i7 6700k @4.4ghz, 32GB of DDR4 3200mhz CL16 RAM, a GTX 1080 FTW at factory clocks, and 5 SSD's adding up to 1.2TB of storage. I also have a 1440p@144hz monitor.
One could say that I appreciate a speedy PC.
@Doctor Krieger, that's a pretty sick setup, I build custom computers for customers all the time, some as good as that or even better. I just got an rx480 4gb, it plays the games I like in ultra or high so I'm happy. I play more ps4 anyway, I like the exclusives.
I suggest changing hardware and software all of the time.
Everytime I find out a friend or colleague has an iPhone I suggest Android ;) #oneplus3t
Cant relate. Running bootleg of Windows 7. Would be on XP if software still supported it. We fear change.
@lockke, Windows 10 is actually pretty great. I recommend moving to it.
@Doctor Krieger, Oh I will, ill be the last one on board, but eventually I will. Nice rig btw.
@Doctor Krieger, I agree. I love Windows 7. But also love Windows 10. It's like they took the good stuff from 7 and 8 and put it into one OS.
Or you have that friend that is busy sucking Linux off every chance he gets.
Hey, if you're into tech and use Reddit or some other forum a lot, you just might.
Actually my friends and I do talk about operating systems when a new one releases. We talk about if it's worth getting. But then again we all build our own PCs.
