@TriangleTesticles, oh god
Man, even the former royalty has to go back to basic cable once they're out...
(#38 in case you don't get it)
@DeathbyBadgers, but... she's not royalty...
@DeathbyBadgers, I don't get it. Obama's were not royalty, and we founded the USA on the premise that we reject royalty. We occasionally refer to families that produce multiple significant figures as "royalty" (Kennedy's, Bush's, for example). By that standard, still not royalty.
@occasionalmutant, we nickname those as "dynasties"
@DeathbyBadgers, Now listen here you redcoat bastard, that lady ain't no stinkin royalty like y'all got over there in England. This is Murica, home of Presidents and First Ladies, no royalty. Take your hoity toity ways elsewhere
@occasionalmutant, I respectfully disagree. The role of the President has changed completely since this great nation was founded and the entire presidential family is treated as such. They get an entire government building to themselves, fully staffed and heavily guarded for that matter... If that isn't royalty then I guess we just have different definitions.
@Devil Ocean, yeesh, can't have a difference of opinion? For the record I'm a gun-loving, Trump-supporting, straight white male. Just poor word choice on my part I guess. Didn't mean to stir up anything lol
@DeathbyBadgers, (was meant to be sarcasm, no intent on causing offense)
@DeathbyBadgers, "different definitions" so like your definition and the actual definition of the word...?
@DeathbyBadgers, we have different definitions of royalty. Ever since Booth put a bullet into Lincoln's head, we have had secret service guarding them. And show me any major nation that does not have it's head of state in their own building, heavily guarded. That is not unique to our nation. The vast majority of them are not royalty.
Does nobody else see this as a South Park reference
