Why not just be honest? Throw those people under the bus, its your job on the line.
@Dexios S Divine, it depends it could be they have a dual job. That's what I have. My job was two different people's jobs that they decided to merge into one. It could be their job is both IT and whatever that report is. That would mean she would have to tell her boss that her job was too much work for her to get her work done. Some bosses accept that and work with you some just begin to think that maybe someone else can handle your job better
@Dexios S Divine, Or just don't help those people and tell them to do things themselves
See Bob... the problem is not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care.
@btay11, Don't .........don't care?
@Azyoulikeit, it's a matter of motivation Bob. You see if I bust my ass and Initech ships a few extra units, I don't see another dime.
@btay11, So where's the motivation? Here's something else, Bob, I have eight different bosses right now.
I literally got let go of a job out of the blue for this reason. All the employees wondered wtf happened. My termination papers said "job elimination" meaning I wasn't terminated or fired but my job at the company was obsolete. 👍🏻👍🏻
@RiffRaff, at one of my previous jobs, they bought a program to replace me, asked me to train managers on said program, then were flabbergasted that everything ended up effed. I kept that place functioning efficiently. But it was more "efficient" to let more people have access to what I did and downsize me. These companies man... Employees are people, not parts.
@stillnotginger, biggest issue with the company I worked for was that the owner was stuck in the past and would not update their information system, they were running on a version 10 years old.
@RiffRaff, that's always a joy. It worked before it should still work right? Who cares that the competition is ages ahead lol
Fairly good representation of why i just worked a 13hr day after i worked a 12hr day yesterday
Self management, sometimes you have to say no. Then kill them.
Unrelated question: if FunnyPics had 3D Touch capabilities, what would y'all want to see?
This also applies to being a housewife/mom, except I'm not the one that pays the bills so it's ok to flip out :)
