Sounds likes something an absolute failure would say when they're trying to blame everyone else for their massive failure
@EddySteady, oh oh! I know this one! What is democratic socialism?
@EddySteady, I'm always amazed tho that these people can make it sound intelligent and end up thinking people will fall for their utter BS.
@EddySteady, they should post this without removing the name. This person needs to be outed, unless it's a prank.
@EddySteady, Sounds like something a troll would say.
I don't know if I should laugh or weep at this stupidity
@JIDF Operative, You start with weeping, the laughing comes with the flamethrower later.
@JIDF Operative, i think this is an incidence where we can assume they're being sarcastic. If only to preserve our sanity. (Really though, I'm pretty sure he's being sarcastic.)
I saw a troll write an article about how immoral it is for a heart surgeon to make more money than McDonald’s employees. Good stuff.
@FP Waiter, I would very much like to read that. Where did you see it?
This is why I personally don't believe in affirmative action and why I think all hiring and admitting needs to be done based on merit. I don't care if you're black or white I just care about how qualified you are and how hard you're willing to work.
@King Millner, exactly, one of my favorite quotes "the less you think about race, the less racist you are." It shouldn't matter of you just think of everyone as another person
The caption is basically a metaphor for America right now
Please tell me the op was joking
@Orange Sherbert, does it help you in life to be that much of an optimist?
@Galven, actually, yes. It helps me keep my hope for humanity.
@Orange Sherbert, what's that feel like? I've long since forgotten.
Looks like someone missed out on the cook position at 5 guys and is stuck at the register.
Isn't the idea to find or LEARN a skill that you can make a living on instead of expecting everything to be handed to you? Shame on any state that brings up minimum wages for fast food workers. God forbid you put work into something to better yourself.
@Rackbutt, holy hell I agree. I mean, I don't know much about minimum wage in the states (I'm canadian) but I would understand wanting to raise it if it was truly very low. But 15 an hour for a basic job? No way. Minimum in Alberta is going up to 15 in the fall, and I'm already dying on the inside because everything is going to get so much more expensive than it already is, and the prices are already grossly over inflated *sighs in desperation*
@Rackbutt, that's a rather stupid argument. If you don't pay your fast food workers living wages, you soon won't have any.
As the cost of living goes up, wages have to as well.
@instantcoconut25, I live in Ontario and I'm on government support. One of my friends works full time at McDonalds. I make more money than her.
This is wrong.
People with little or no skill have job opportunities galore. It's called 'unskilled labor'.
Tumblr demading equality without knowing what the fvck the term means
I'm hoping this isn't a genuine post
@MisterSir, it probably ain't but do t tell those who don't know.
When you post shït like this, do society a favour and don't blur the names. Unless the guy is really just a troll, we need to bully them until they commit suicide because they are collective dragging down our entire species.
Let's be more like the Chinese and acknowledge the existence of stupidity.
@I Are Lebo, not sure if troll or serious?
@AnonymousCrab, I was being serious, though not necessarily about the suicide thing.
I'm not the type of person to lightly suggest that someone take their own life, but if someone seriously believes it's discrimination to require competence in a career, they genuinely should kill them self. Preferably they should grow up and not be an idiot, but failing that...
@I Are Lebo, I think that's the first thing I have heard you say that I agree with.
@Kliment Voroshilov, really? I've commented "I like boobs" a few times...
@I Are Lebo, see the important part there is "I have heard" I obviously have not read the "I like boobs" comment but I guess that makes it two things.
That person is stupid but those "starting positions" that require you to be a college grad and have 8 years of experience for that position are ridiculous
Inclusiveness has no place in society
People aren't born equal and that's a sad but harsh truth. However, this is something we simply have to accept and live with. Accommodating everyone simply isn't practical.
I worked for a company where the project manager purposefully interviewed a woman for a programming position who was obviously under-qualified, didn't write or speak English in a proficient manner, simply because "she was the only female applicant". Ended up hiring an unqualified guy who had not been employed for over a year because they "felt bad for him" for losing his wife and house in a fire. Fired him after two months.
It seems hiring people based on real merit is frowned upon and people should be hired based on "feelings"
Is this not a quote from Terry Goodkind's book "Faith of the Fallen"?
*Ron Swanson throwing away computer gif*
I'll remember this next time i need to hire some lash technicians. I'll look for workers with no arms.
As it should. Get some skills, people!
@fluffy incredible , the pilot was hired despite not having the skills to fly a plane. Her post basically says skills shouldn't be a factor when hiring people
