Well that's enough Tumblr for today
Good luck trying to rip up a former slaves papers. He/she probably has family back where he formerly worked who can inform his/her former master who can prove he/she was freed. In fact ripping up a free mans or woman's papers was a criminal offense.
@BearDaniels, back the fvck up. Did you really just make a claim countering public perceptions that are convenient for pushing a biased, untrue viewpoint, and assume that the gender of the hypothetical slave was male or female? You are what's wrong with this world
@Paranoid Sushi, lmao oh yeah. Your typical slave owner was a lot like a dog breeder of today. Keeping in equal measure male and female slaves. It's was lot easier and cheaper to breed slaves and train them from a young age than buy them and teach them the ins and out of their new home and jobs. So yeah it's definitely plausible that a free slave could be a man or a woman.
Is it a fact that facts are racist?
@TheChicki, who knows but racism is racist, fact
@Spess mehrens, hey that's racist
@Pinkpuppetfred, ey you got me
@TheChicki, it's a fact that I'm racist! Wait...
@Medic135, oh don't worry. Hating black people is racist, saying someone's black is racist, but stereotyping all white people and saying you hate them? Don't worry that ain't racist
@Tentastic, Did I hear a double standard? 🔪⚰️
This isn't your average everyday stupidness. This is ADVANCED STUPIDNESS
@Ray213, source for your claim?
@Sweet or Sour,

I'd like to use this on my current paper. It requires 15 sources annotated, but everyone knows darn well that I'm only getting my information from one source and it's Wikipedia.
@Domogle, Fun Fact: Wikipedia actually has a list of its own sources at the bottom of any given page. Free sources for everyone!
When people ask to state your source when you're talking about something, it just fvcking bewilders me that they literally can't be bothered to open up another tab on their magical information box/tablet.
@Swolekage, there's nothing wrong with asking someone where they got their information
@Swolekage, if you can't supply people with sources good luck convincing anyone, the burden of proof is in you because you made the claim.
@Pinkpuppetfred, buzzfeed, the onion, cnn, wikkipedia, my co-worker, facebook, where else?
@Swolekage, the burden of truth falls on the maker of the claim
While this is... well, crazy... I have seen whites disregard facts from reputable sources and then point to sources like the "national enquirer" and claim their facts are more true.
@iOS10, Blacks do that too. I've seen them cite shjt like Salon and Vox. It's not something exclusive to one race, it's something exclusive to stupid people.
@CriTiKa1, I haven't seen you post in forever. I miss you babe.
"while it's crazy to generalize an entire group based on the actions of people almost 200 years ago, I'm going to generalize an entire group based on the actions of very few"
This is why I'm all for segregation... please, just go away.
I told you guys there were actually sane people on Tumblr.
