I mean I just built my first PC ever, and I got a gtx 970 from a work buddy (for basically nothing) that does everything i want ip to 60 fps so like
I'm 100% with leo here
@FriendlyWalrus, I’m still rocking my 970. Haven’t had any issues yet
(Me an intelectual) yeeees graphics cards!
@seeUpee, I can’t wait to get mine when they have enough in stock but by then 4080 will be ready to roll out.
@Dimir FTW, oh yes! Totally Dimir
*turns on Xbox and continues to have a blast*
@seeUpee, I’m still having fun but dang man we haven’t had a huge leap In gaming like this since Xbox 360 and ps3 came out. Well at least in my opinion
*looks at the new Xbox mini fridge that is about to come out*
Soon bro... soon! Unless you want the white router all the none cool people will get
@seeUpee, lol pc master race all the way the last console I owned was a 360 though
@Dimir FTW, mad respects! After I wanted to play age of empires 3 and my PC was like no... I gave up on it
@seeUpee, wait until you see the ps5, it's even bigger than the new xbox.
@no comprendo, is it? Bigger than the mini fridge? Why? Does the router try to get signal to out of space?
The never ending struggle of constantly updating technology
Me who has no money for any of the above. *cries*
$50k Mac Pro?
@Jaune Arc, ya their Mac Book Pro with every possible upgrade is $50k. Meanwhile if you built it yourself and ran windows or Linux it would cost $3000
I’m still running my 970 that I bought for $300 back when it was close to the top of Nvidia’s cards.
I mean I got a rtx 2060 super as part of a prebuild and it has been able to eat pretty much anything I've thrown at it granted I'm running 1080p so we'll see after I get a better monitor
I got a 2060 RTX for $200 and got the game Anthem for free.....ya, lets not talk about that game
@Dknessfalls, at least you didn’t buy a 2080ti for 1200$
I just got a new 1080 for $275 a year ago I'm still good
i got a 980 atm. gonna skip 2 gens lol
The desktop I'm replacing is a mini pc (like what's used in school computer labs) with a GT 650ti. That thing doesn't run jack but LEGO games
@Anonymous Jack III, rollercoaster tycoon should also work I would think
I got myself a decently priced 2070, a good middle ground for just about any game. So im not even mad about the 30 series
“Crap! Skipped too many generations- now have to build a new pc... ahhh$$$$$$$$!!!!”
People who still can’t understand why posters don’t put the $ sign before the numbers: (a picture of me rolling my eyes)
I'm so glad Leo finally won an Oscar oh wait he didn't
Ehh I still would have bought the 2080ti just like I'm going to buy the 3090 this Thursday. Its about having the best
@dadood fromcheers, Same. But based on leaks from sources that leaked the 3080, the 3090 is showing very little gains in any gaming related tasks. Still might be getting one myself if possible, but definitely a little underwhelming. :/
@SheepLord, at most in a perfect world it was only ever going to be an extra 20% based on the increased Cuda core amount.
@dadood fromcheers, Just wish they released the leaked 3080 20 GB as the actual 3080. 10 GB may be limiting for future 4K titles. That’s what drives me to the 3090, that tasty VRAM
