I had a girl in my high school called La-a and it was pronounced "ladasha"
@nemestrinus , Every time a joke about baby names is made, I ALWAYS see someone mention this name. Clearly something is wrong because it's obviously a lot more common than we'd like to think
@Fluffle Puff, my favorite name is $h1thead when this pronounce it ($hi-thead)
@capu57, my mom works at a school and she said there a kid with that name...pronounced "sh¡-theed"
@nemestrinus , wait a second....did you go to mill creek?!?! Because a girl with that name graduated a few years back
@nemestrinus , oh man I think you once commented that years ago, didn't you? Why can I remember this stuff for years but exam answers not even a week.
@clevernamenumber7, Georgia represent! My line of work prevents me from sharing some of the greatest names. let's just say the population i work with are awful and some of their names are well, what you'd expect.
@handsmcfeeler, well I'm on the younger side I graduated last year, I just know of her.
@clevernamenumber7, that's alright. I'm old. I think my sister in law graduated from there several years ago. I loved in the Buford area for a while, now I'm in Lawrenceville. However i hope to move to Jefferson or farther soon. I hate people...
@handsmcfeeler, amen, mill creek has 5,000 kids. I have been all over this state. Funny to meet someone so close by.
@nemestrinus , 🤦🏻♂️
@handsmcfeeler, funny what knowing la-a can do lol
@clevernamenumber7, she brings us together, much like the punctuation for the "a"s in her name.
@Fluffle Puff, I knew a girl named prync-s. Pronounced princess.
@nemestrinus , just found my future daughters name, thanks! That or anestesia
@nemestrinus , you'd be surprised how many La-a's there are in this world 😑😑
@nemestrinus , if that's for real, please post a yearbook photo sometime.
@Fluffle Puff, or people watch a lot of the same tv shows where that is a somewhat common black name joke
@nemestrinus , or maybe you stole it from a youtube video. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@Fluffle Puff, my wife works at a children's hospital and she took a picture of a child's name at the top of a chart. The name was spelled Sssst. And it was pronounced "forrest" (4-S-T) ... that one makes Ladasha look like a Rhodes Scholar.
@nemestrinus , My buddy has a friend with children named Orangejello (pronounced Oran-jay-low) and Lemonjello (pronounced Lay-mon-jay-low).
The child's F'ed her life so she's going to F the child's life in return
My mom knew a "Latrina".
There was a lady I helped at work named Toshira
@mas2de, African American
@Shooter2435, darn. I thought it kinda sounded like a bad pronunciation of Toshiba. Friggin' ghetto names though. Lol
@mas2de, I had thought the same thing when I first heard her name
I used to know a kid called anakin. No joke
@TrueIrishLad1916, that's not bad, that's badass!
My sister works in OB & after a delivery the baby was named. "KMNO" on the birth certificate. pronounced "No L" as in, "Noel". This really happened..
You probably shouldn't name or hold anything that comes out of a stomach...
I went to school with a guy named Ah'stawn pronounced as "Austin"
At least its not called lasagne
My mums cousin has named her 3rd child selphie. Enough said.
Some people aren't very smart
